Ah yes, I think we had Brawler & Slasher on Dagger/Cerberus ? That was a fun game with stuff flying all over the place :D.

Yep :)

Liara: Sometimes I wonder how you keep it together, Shepard.

Shepard: Steak, Liara. When there's so much at steak....

Liara: ...I see...that must be a human thing...

LolViper. Proof that the huntress doesn't even require a weapon.

It's light for cool downs, and all of the huntress's powers are on cool down. It shoots and reloads quickly, and with warp ammo and dark channel chipping away at a banshee doesn't take me terribly long. Home sick from work today I have been playing gold matches with this chick almost all day so far and have topped the score every time on multiple maps with consumables to spare.

Don't knock it til you try it :)

I guess i didn't have to use a sniper rifle, but it made sense somehow, and I had a ton of rail amps to waste. If I had a leveled power amp for SMGs I might have used that instead.

Weight is pretty much irrelevant on Infiltrators so you may as well just use a heavier sniper (if you're trying to be efficient, of course).

Hm, idk, weight seems pretty relevant in this instance. But I'll experiment with the heavier stuff.

The truth is I'm not actually very good at "sniping". I like that I can shoot the viper from the hip. But I'll try the widow or something and see how I do. I tried the javelin with the GHI earlier and hated it.

Even if you are worried about weight, the Raptor and Indra weigh the same and are superior in every concievable way. I think the mantis weighs about the same too, with the Incisor, CSR and Valiant being not much heavier.

Tactical Cloak cool-down overrides those of powers casted while cloaked, so, yeah, cool-downs are irrelevant on infiltrators. TC cool-down is based on when you break cloak, not the gun-induced one. Unless you let it break naturally, the impact of the weight of the weapons is pretty much inexistent.

Just because it's a common/uncommon, you can't completely drop a weapon and tag it as useless in higher difficulties. I've topped the scoreboard with the Mattock on Gold more than once.

And this I forgot, though having cloak on a low cool down still seems like a good idea. Cloaking often keeps things off my squishy a**. But I do see the point.

Conversely, just because it's Rare doesn't mean it won't be useless.

My point is you can take heavy guns and still have a good cool-down on TC. Up to -50% is totally fine.

It is a tough call.  I have several favorites.  Maybe I'll agree with the OP and go with Destroyer as overall #1.  Typhoon with hi-velocity barrel, IR scope, and incendiary or AP rounds (Rambo in space!).  I actually like the Hawk missile launcher too.  Close seconds are the Asari Huntress (dark channel and warp, lancer), N-7 Slayer (ninja blade and palm cannon=cool!),  Krogan Soldier (crusader, when I'm in the total melee mood), and Batarian Sentinel (harrier, great all-around).  Recently discovered the Volus Engineer (lancer, challenging to play but a destructive little dude).

My most favourite kit is definitely Turian Sentinel with Arc Pistol. Extremely OP but not widely consider so, perfect combination for e-peen enlargement. Kills every mook on every difficulty with Overload + a charged headshot, destroys bosses with Warp + Warp ammo + charged shots. Did I mention you should always charge Arc Pistol before shooting?

Runner-ups would be:

* NovaGuard: almost invincible with Nova cancelling, extremely fast, tons of explosions, Nova + Heavy Melee is very satisfying.
* Human Engineer with Falcon: makes enemies think they play against geth with reaper upgrades. Slap some Cryo ammo and you've got the god of crowd control.
* N7 Fury: boom-boom-boom.
* Drell Adept with Graal: professional pizza deliverer during day, thresher maw hunter at night. Insane charged headshot damage and tons of biotic explosions.
* Human Infiltrator with Widow: straight from the good old demo days, now borderline OP with Phasic ammo.

The last of my favorites, N7 Destroyer with Typhoon X and AP ammo IV, is quite boring but it is fun melting everything in seconds, a way to relax after a stressful match.

Favorite class is Engineer, though there are several kits that I don't like in that category.

Favorite kits are SE and SI.

Try the Executioner on him. Scope and Heavy Barrel. Think of him as a ninja sniper like this. Dodge into view, snap shot, dodge out of view.

Vanguards/Novaguard for life. <3 I just love the fast paced playstyle of charging all over the place and constantly being in the middle of all the action, plus nova-canceling is a GREAT way to tank those annoying turrets.

Ofc :)

But the cryo shield feels more, er, uhm... "Canadian". lawls >.<

(I fully acknowledge fire shield is better, but there's something hilarious about an enemy on health meleeing my shield and slowly falling over.)

Doesn't Cryo Shield just Freeze them, but it doesn't do any additional debuff as the Cryo Shield says it would?
