Don't you think that's a little unfair to say?
It is a little unfair, yes. The flip side of that, though, is that height and masculinity are so connected for some people that they slag off tall women as "mannish". Many guys that talk to me feel the need to mention that my height is emasculating to them. It's exasperating for all those people to make
the mere fact of my existence into something that makes them feel bad about themselves, and then use that to set the terms of the conversation. If I were trying to start a relationship with any of them, I imagine it'd be infinitely worse.
I mean, guys can feel whatever they want about their masculinity and tall women, but I'd appreciate it if they'd refrain from taking out their wounded freaking feelings on us.
