Solas was shorter than the HMI in the trailer and the FEI was shorter than Cassandra. I honestly don't know what you're seeing.
My response was to OP, height isn't a factor for me in picking LI's or who goes out adventuring with me.
How much does height affect your race preference?

Height does not matter to me to much, however in most games I have ever played I always end up playing human first and a elf second. I think I played a dwarf once for a hour in bg2 but did not really care for it they look nicer in this but idk. I do think some of the dwarven armor looks awesome so I may make a dwarf warrior on that alone nvm I played a dwarf in 7th saga lol. The Q I don't know I may play them not sure yet, in real life I am 6'3 220 pounds so I like typically playing something that resembles me in some way.
