Show them a picture of your e-dong, and maybe, they'll work harder towards it. Getting towards a goal will be long and hard. Just make sure the goal is big enough to be of satisfaction.

I say join one the BSN groups and start from there. There are plenty of them around. What platform do you play on?

There HAS to be cake, or else there would be no concept of cake at all. So it's completely believable, instigates a kind of joy in anticipation and makes the lobby a better place overall.

It's just the novaguard stereotypes. The ones that are good tend to be scorewhores and well -insert one of the many long winded commentaries about helping with objectives and getting to the choppa wave 11 you'll find on this forum- or serving as a free revive medal if you look under the turret, at the feet of the banshee/brute/phantom/other bosses/ the one enemy cluster that is more complicated than basic troops.

 

Back on topic: as has already been stated join one of the many groups here. Also make sure your mic is off if you're having a bad day or are getting irritated...if the PUGs can't hear you they may think you like them and will like you in return...in theory.

In my opinion, the match ends at the end of Wave 10. In Wave 11 I'm always a fan of "break teamplay, and survive at any cost on your own, also expecting the others to do the same", and in fact, I rarely have to revive anybody in those waves. Well, except the pugs who camp the LZ, but generally I don't even bother to go there.

 

And I haven't seen a scorewhore Novaguard so far. Although it's also true I haven't seen many Novaguards out there. Much less in Gold.

Play a Destroyer with Adas(Or Striker)and Venom. Spec completely into Grenades and Missile Launcher. Now start spamming it on sniping teammate. This set up is hell for sniping teammates if you're trying to anger them by standing next to them. If you are successful, they'll like you.

(Happened in a game of mine on the weekend - BatGuard had one Scion to finish off at the end of w9. He went for the melee option. So did the Scion. Mission Failed.)

I do agree wave 11 is the whelp chaps we'll have a drink after this if you live, if not nice knowing you. The novaguard has become much less prevalent on gold now that people have new "better" toys aka Kroguard, batguard, GI, TGI, AIU. Novaguard spam was an issue before all the dlcs, at least for the few weeks I played before taking an extended break.
