I think she's kind of a Perfect Storm of unnapealing. Not traditionally feminine, so that turns off the group concerned with appearance. A Hard-ass/Ice Queen, which turns off the crowd that wants "the Betty", Pro-Chantry, which turns off the would-be Tevinter Magister/Dalish imperialists/ generally anti-religion crowd.
All I know is the more her fans spin fantasies about Tsundere kiss-kiss-slap Romance scenarios, the more I am convinced I will never find her appealing.
...I hope Josephine is cool. And I hope her being a NPC who you can't take with you doesn't suck as much as I think it will.
Cassandra being the only LI available to go adventuring with for straight males does suck all kinds of A** I like Josephine and will romance her as well.
I am happy that straight female gamers are finally getting a fair shake it doesnt make up for all the BS they have had to deal with but its a start.But I do still wish Vivienne was a Bi-Sexual option that way everyone would have had at least two LIs that can accompany you on your adventures.

Well Josephine is the only real "Girly" LI (IMO) Sera feels like a Isabella/Merrill hybrid to me.
Cassandra doesnt fit the girly stereotype she is a whole diffrent kinda LI we havent had a Female Warrior Romance so we will have to see I just hope I will eventually like Cassandra as much as I love Aveline.
I would say all of the female LIs have been pretty girly in different ways, if Aveline was one I'd probably say she is the 'least girly' among them, not to imply that's bad or that she is 'basically a man' etc.
Nothing wrong with a girl who doesn't indulge frivolous stuff and is just straight to the point.
Still talking about Aveline since we know so little about Cassandra here, the level of presumption about all the DAI companions is astounding tbh.
