the Qun, they're pretty cool, they're huge and they have sick horns. I mean look at the Iron Bull, he's a literal definition of a tank in video games. Who's planning to play as a Qunari on the 1st playthrough?

You aren't a qunari, you are a tal vostoth and the race is kossith. Iron Bull is still a qunari I believe. I understand what you meant I'm just trying the clarify the diffences so you know.

The definition of what makes one "manly" varies greatly. Varric is as manly as Bull as is Alistair. A man is not made by his muscles or force but by his convictions, his honour, his word and the respect he shows for others IMO.

No need to get rude. I even said I understood what you meant, but I thought sense you were interesting in the topic you'd like the know the difference for future reference. My appologizes if you took it the wrong way.

Well if you don't know the difference between the various types of kossith you don't deserve to be one...jk
It is a little confusing. I blame sten for not explaining it for us in DAO

Female Qunari's my plan.
There's something about the idea of a seven-foot oxlady cleaving mooks in half with a giant guddamn greatsword that appeals to me.
Same..although mine and several others ladies..will be going Mage

If a female has convictions, honour, and respect for others that makes her a man as well then in your opinion just saying...

This. It's all sten's fault for lack of insight onto the topic. I guess he didn't need to bring it up though because there was no tal vastoth in DAO so that'd be a weird question to ask without previous knowledge that there is a different name for the groups of kossith

No what makes a woman is slightly different. But I won't get into that here as to upset the apple cart.

Sten: no
Warden: why not
Sten: one cannot sum up a group of people like saying the dalish are alive people with pointy ears that excell at poverty
Warden: that is a highly accurate description of the dalish thank you

Yet Humans still get an extra attribute point while Vashoth only get a health boost.

Good catch my friend! I didn't even notice I made that mistake. It's a bit ironic isn't it? Lol

"Kossith" is not "the" name of the race, but rather the culture that predated the Qun. Officially, they are all "Qunari", and that's what the people of Thedas will call you, but other than that, there is no unifying racial catch-all word as far as the lore goes. "Oxmen" or "giants" would really be better.
But I'd rather keep that discussion in other threads.
