When selecting the option to change email address for the forums, instead of going to origin you are shown a page to request a reset of your password.

The software only gives us the option to go to one location so we choose password reset since that is the more common usage.
If you do need to change your email you can do so here:
https://www.origin.com/profile/
There should be a "Edit" link under the "About Me" / "Basic Information" section.
