Can someone just tell me whether the supposed fake spoiler over the well u know those evil people was true or not?

Many of you know what im refrencing to...

I'd rather not hahaha, i just hate having that ending in my head, I wan't someone to tell me it isnt true so i can enjoy the game fully

Wouldn't be saying that they're not real, be a spoiler too? I mean people started to create their own theories on how the story might develop, and that might have been exactly what those 14 year olds said.

If Bioware was to confirm they're not spoilers, I think they already (slightly) ruined the story for those people.

Ethan thanks for your honesty, my thoughts were that the lets just call it the *identity* spoiler, was the big all end all. Knowing its just a fun fact makes me feel alot better

I fell victim to a spoiler as well. The one about the Collector's link to the Reapers. I so hope that it isn't true, not just cause its a big game spoiler but also that it doesn't seem to fit in the ME universe imo.

Yea oh well, really at this point everyone is disputing everything and calling the so called spoilers minor, so I guess I'm not spoiled hahaha. I'll enjoy the plot. Plus the best part is your squadmates story not the general canon one.

Trust me, its better that you don't know.

Its not fake. The spoilers were real, but they weren't actually spoiling much. Theres a LOT more to the end of the game, and the whole revelation of what the Collectors and Reapers are doing. Trust me, you really haven't been spoiled much. That was but a fraction compared to the rest of the information you will find out. You have nothing to worry about.

You are better off leaving the game unspoiled, people are saying it isn't that big of a spoiler but it seems like a pretty big twist, one that however makes little sense and just makes you want to ask more questions about ME2 imo.

I've beaten the game at a friends house, believe me i'm right. You weren't spoiled that much. Don't lose any sleep over this, its unnecessary.

Good luck. But to avoid any future "attacks" like today that might reveal more, you should probably leave the forums. It's tough, but necessary if you don't want to risk being spoiled.

the people trying to say the spoilers are fake are just getting your hopes up. i wanted to believe that it wasnt real either but the absurdly unbelievable spoiler about the humans being abducted/reapers/collectors is true, and is one of the lamest endgame bosses ive ever seen. im a huge mass effect fan and the ending was pretty cool other than the boss, its just STUPID, OXM was right when they say it doesnt belong in the ME universe...

Yeah good idea, it's what I plan to do.

In a way these spoilers have made me more pumped for ME2, initially I had only one question regarding the collectors, the question was answered and now I have a whole lot more questions to which I seek the answer to even moreso than the original one regarding the collectors.

1st. might want to remove the terminator salvation and GoW reference, its kind of spoilerish.

2nd. I didn't say the final boss was perfect, it was alright - the equivalent of the Archdemon in DA:O. But the ending was perfect, the whole thing with TIM, what happens after you leave that certain area you are at. That was excellent. And then how your crew reacted to what you chose to do once you were back at the Normandy. Excellent ending.
