...and how have they apparently had it for long enough to play all the way through it? I know online pre-orders sometimes arrive a day or two early but assuming that it takes at least a few days to complete a playthrough, there's no way that people could've legitimately received their copies by now. So basically, wouldn't anyone claiming to have played through the game already be admitting to having pirated it? And if so, why are so many of them so nonchalant about mentioning this on BioWare's own message board?
How do people have the game already...?

some stores sell it early Handheld knows this because he called his local stores and found they had already sold some preorders.
Handheld also knows there are more..... Lucrative means however Handheld will not go into this as they involve parrots and peg legged men.

Some people have managed to find stores that have broken the street date, but the vast majority are people who have pirated copies.

People got it from contacts within stores like Gamestop. If you've got a friend working there, it pays off.

Time Traveling or piracy both work, or time traveling pirates.
They got lucky, that's all. I just want them to leave us normal and misfortunate people alone till at least thursday so we can finish the game and don't have to worry about spoilers.

its worthy of noting the xbox 360 version was up on the torrent sites much faster and earlier then then pc version. Just like to point stuff like that out when people bemoan the death of pc gaming due to piracy.

Not all xbox 360 versions have been leaked, people have gotten them from stores early and have the cases and everything.

Perhaps so, but without statistics for how many people have downloaded each version it doesn't really matter. I'd suspect the number of people with modded X360's downloading and burning ME2 is likely much smaller than the number of PC pirates who essentially just have to download a file and click "INSTALL".
Plus, no one's PC is going to be banned from connecting to the internet as a result...

Handheld himself actually witnessed the pc version being sold at a gamestop in another town it was hard for Handheld himself to not purchase but Handheld was resolute and stood strong.
Plus Handheld has the CE coming in for 360.
