At the risk of sounding like an ass, how would the dalish decorate a permanent structure?
Not sure, but they've mentioned that skyhold can have a more dalish feel if you are playing an elf.

Mageneto loves his Dalish trinkets
The odd thing is I don't understand why she wouldn't undergo the Joining again.
The Grey Wardens are there because they WANT to be part of the Night's Watch.
It's like Beardsy McFeathers.
You join the Grey Wardens because you are PREPARED TO DIE in the service of a good cause.
Not because you have to, conscripts aside.
Hence me saying 'maybe he figured it out'.
Well he's kind of dead on my save so that's still a no go.

If you killed Avernus and the Architect, you're kind of bringing this on yourself.
:-)
I hope we get a 'dalish mage robe' this time. There was always something weird about watching dalish NPCs strut around in tevinter-style robes.
I quite like the robe itself and if it's only used by the dalish I'm happy to have it back.
Better coverage than the chasind robe and easier to move in than Circle one.

I didn't kill Avernus.
But hell yeah I killed the intelligent darkspawn. We can't coexist peacefully. XD

My Warden was practical about it.
The Architect was causing Darkspawn to war with each other.
More of that=Good.

Wait, what Dalish robe are we talking about here? I've been picturing Velanna's boob-window robe, but the bolded makes me think otherwise. ![]()

Not when the very presence of darkspawn tainted the land.
My warden would rather deal with stupid darkspawn then smart ones warring with each other.

I'm glad I'm not the only one, I looked at it as Darkspawn fighting each other as he experiments, if he suceeds no more Blights, if he fails and starts another Blight we don't have all the nations doubting it's going on like can frequently happen with Night Watch, Grey Wrden/ Watch-and-Wait groups.

Hm, I don't know, maybe they can at least paint it green or something.

The Chasind robe and Velanna's robe are pretty much the same in design. I'd like something similar to Merrill's Act III robe for my Dalish mage, though probably with different coloring.
I've been picturing Velanna's boob-window robe...
Hmm...so have I.
Huh?

Well, some attire was recycled a bit; Reaper's Vestments have the basic look of the Tevinter robes that were worn by Merrill in the Dalish Origin, and they have a similar look to the Chasind robes as well (with different coloring), as Gamer072196 pointed out earlier. There has been some concept art that might indicate what the Dalish Inquisitor's attire may look like.
I forgot Valanna wore the peek-a-boo navel one, I like the Reaper Vestments type but I certainly wouldn't say no to the green version of Merril's Act 3 armour with or without chainmail.
So a dev hinted we get to customize our elves ears.
I can't be the only one who will make them as huge as possible, right?

One of the most annoying things about DA:O was how in the unmodded game, elf ears got hidden by longer hairstyles. Had to mod that away so my characters look like proper elves.
Hopefully if we can customize them, that won't be a problem this time...

Agreed, but the two elf pictures we saw today had quite different ear sizes, and a dev said this
You may also note that those elves have differently-shaped ears. It's almost like they were...customized. #dundundunnn
So I'm thinking we may be able to get ones that stick out of our long hair!
Well that's good to hear.
Looking at that male elf Inquisitor, yeah, I imagine if he had longer hair the ears would still be visible.
My favorite art of elves thought I should share it with you guys!
I really hope they have left the 'barefoot elves' thing behind. It's ugly and impractical.

Indeed, really, really stupid.

Didn't really give me the impression they were 'closer to nature' like they were apparently going for. It just made me think they like slivers.
