So just saw the two elves created by the DAI CC, if the Elven race didn't have my 100% support before they do now. They were so beautiful and a massive improvement from DA II elves.
The lore blatantly mentions humans find elves more attractive than humans. if that's the case it wasn't showing in previous games. DAO was OK I suppose but DA2 was a disaster. Massive improvement indeed.

Not really.
.-. It's mentioned a handful of times by biased sources.

Leliana mentions the same thing about Orlais. (not the assassin part, just being attractive and prized for beauty in Orlais)
if you play Dalish origin a codex mentions humans find Halla and the dalish elves attractive. its about Aravels.
Isabela is the only biased source.

And to add to those "biased" sources. Zevran says in Antiva elves are found more attractive therefore are chosen for crows

So are the Dalish implying that when you're in a pinch there going for the livestock is an equally valid option as going for the elves? Any way you cut it, it seems like they have filthy filthy minds.

I have seen you hundreds of times using dialogue as proof. They is no reason not to believe them. Wiki has already stated them as facts.
See Zevran dialogue
See Leliana dialogue
See Codex: Aravels. Quote: "Certainly most humans would agree that the halla are as beautiful as the elves themselves"
Humans often find elves to be beautiful and physically attractive, as explained by both Zevran Arainai and Leliana in dialogue and mentioned in codex.

Actually I was wrong, you have to be none-dalish to get that codex.

Finding beautiful and finding attractive are not necessarily the same thing. A stained glass window may be beautiful, but is not 'attractive'. I don't think humans actually want to have sex with halla :/

Lol, I can't believe you interpret it that way. I think the codex shows the fairness kind of beauty that elves and Halla share. You guys do have dirty minds. I was merely connecting the lore. Humans finds elves beautiful and some characters mention elves are often found attractive by humans.

We interpreted it that way, because you used the word 'attractive' which is normally used to imply some level of carnal desire. Doubly so in the context of how you were talking about elves being more sexually desirable to humans.

I think it wants to show the Halla are fair creatures and they share the trait with elves. It doesn't mean humans are intimately attracted to Halla!

In another forum I used to participate in, people with anime avatars were automatically counted as nerds and virgins. Of course it wasn't true but it gives you an idea about avatar judgement.
Go to notes section in the link below, its the 6th note. It provides all the sources to the statement and links to character pages who have the dialogues and the codex (the number at the end of sentence and name of characters as links)

It doesn't provide anything for the dialogue to back it up but the codex does apparently exist.
Alrightie then.

But anyway that wasn't the point i was making, it came from a person that was remarking on how beautiful an particular elf was.
