Anyway

Hopefully we'll see our elven companions.

I wanna see Fenris <3

Hopefully less growly towards mages since I rivaled him. (Though still somewhat WTF especially with the veil tear XD)

*sigh* Talking about Fenris makes me want him on the Inquisition roster... oh well, there's always DA2.

That was reimbursement for helping you gain freedom, it was politics, not charity. Don't ask for help and then expect lives to be given without value.

Both groups were working for freedom. The Dales were a gift from Maferath and his sons for their support.

A pity the elves who moved to the Dales didn't take after Shartan.

It was a gift. Nothing demanded that we give you anything besides the freedom you asked for. Man pitied the sad and pathetic creatures it saw before them.

If Hawke shows up I really hope their partner does. If they were separated because Hawke disappeared it would be nice to run into Fenris (or whoever but especially Fenris) who was searching for them or something. Perhaps they'd have some information on what happened to Hawke or where they last were.

I know as soon as that happened my Snarky Hawke probably lost it and Fenris I told you so face was probably priceless.

It's about time Thedas got the sequel we've all been waiting for.

If it ain't a 'slap an Orlesian Noble in the face' simulator I haven't been waiting for it

Saaame. I don't think Fenris would've left my squishy mage Hawke alone. Fenris knows how easily it is for Hawke to get surrounded D:

Fenris:...

Hawke: Don't say it.

Fenris:........

Hawke: I mean it!

Hawke: Maker Damn it Fenris!

what kind of personality do you have planned for your elf. Ill share mine if you do XD(positivity!!!)

I've spent a lot of time thinking of about how to do that without covering too much of the same ground as my human Inquisitor. I figured the human would have more diplomatic personality while being more pragmatic in his policies, and the elf would usually pick more aggressive dialogue options but have a more diplomatic goals.

So maybe like if Caesar was a female elf mage?

Or something.

as far as Fenris goes I always thought it was funny how for being so anti magic and hard edged and all of that bs he put on from the first time you meet him.......in the fade he jumps on the first demon he sees.

Really? I didn't. Fenris acknowledged that demons are tempting and a lot of people are weakwilled (almost certain he includes himself in the weak willed tile as well given his reactions to the fog warriors and Danarius). thus easily swayed by them.

In rivalry he's just too prideful to admit so to Hawke (he'll blame Hawke for bringing him there in the first place) though he will on a friendship. (That said his first instinct was to apologize. He just takes it back if you're on a rivalry lololol).

I'll admit that I'm biased since he's my favorite DA2 companion, but I wouldn't hold that against him.  Everybody except Justice falls prey to temptation in that quest... well, except for Sebastian, who was smart enough to refuse to take part. xD

I suggest you read even your own highly biased version of history, rather than using the contents of your privy. Your Andraste asked for help, we provided it, in return gaining a small section of the land our mutual oppressor had stolen.
You did not pity us, you needed us. If you have so little now worth memorializing, do not rewrite the past for a nobility you now find lacking in yourself.

I'm basing my elf's personality and some of her looks on the awesome Billie Lurk from the game Dishonored: Knife of Dunwall. Billie is a lieutenant assassin working under Daud, the head of their black magic using assassin group. Her background is similar to being a First to the Keeper. I think her alignment will be lawful evil, She'll follow the traditions and rules of the clan but ultimately have her own selfish agenda like Billie. I plan on her being a mage with the necromancy spec.

Not sure, she won't be my first playthrough so I haven't really thought that far ahead. I usually try to mix up my characters a bit across games, so I'll probably just try and differentiate her from my Warden, who was a bit more moderate, eased off on humans after a while despite being a bit cold and moody all the time, and was more pro-elf in general rather than strictly pro-Dalish, despite still caring for the latter.

So...Inquisitor will either be ferociously extreme in her views and agenda or ferociously indifferent, all the while being angry and sometimes excessively violent, I guess. Chaotic Neutral to the Warden's Neutral Good I suppose. Haven't decided. :S

No, you needed the humans. It's funny how the elves did nothing until Andraste was already combating the Imperium and destroying their infrastructure, but hey, you meat shields were pretty important too.

Well, long story short, I'll be playing as a Lawful Evil warrior who sees joining the Inquisition as the opportunity of a lifetime.  He'll do everything he can to make the right connections so that he can acquire vast amounts of wealth and power.  Since he's fairly ignorant of human politics, laws, and customs, he'll rely on his team and advisors to help guide him, although he'll eventually adapt to his role and become more independent in time.

Planning elfquisitor with a sense of humour for my first play through. So will probably end up embracing the Herald of Andraste thing and become a lulzy Shartan 2.0.

*snip*

Oooh Billie looks awesome.

I guess I'll make up an elf even if I probably won't play her.

She'd be a dreamer (not a dreamer dreamer just a normal dreamer) who keeps to herself a lot. Very somber and not all that eager for attention. She'd rather listen to a crowd of people arguing around her to get their side of the story then try to herd them into order. (Terrible leader material really). But her magical gifts are very highly prized among her clan. She's a peacekeeper and would rather guard and protect than attack and she favors staying as far away from human lands and as far away from contact with them (peaceful or hostile) as possible. Despite that she can't help but be interested in the cultures outside her own. I see her as very bird in a cage like but she's the one unwilling to step out.

She's not overly concerned about dalish heritage but she simply does it because it's expected of her and going against the flow is simply too bothersome and would result in too much attention on her. That said she does daydream about traversing the strange lands and cultures she's only seen from a distance at best. She just lacks the strength of will to leave the clan and explore and would rather avoid the confrontations she knows would result from that.

The keeper shoving her to spy and her getting caught up in the blast changes all that though :P

That said I see her as one of my fail characters who screw things up constantly and probably end up dying near the end of the game if they don't go evil cause they're tired of being walked over.

She'll be Noble and Clever and be besties with Sera and Varric.

She'll believe the ends don't justify the means, the means justify the ends.

She'll be a champion of the people regardless of race with a strong sense of justice.

So Chaotic Good?

Your rebuttal is 'I have decided that reality is no longer applicable, please ignore and use this new one in which we are awesome.'
Humans also did nothing until Andraste had her 'Divine Inspiration' Neither group along could have overthrown Magister rule, you knew it we knew it. Both sides needed to work together, for you it was your god, for us it was the potential reclaim our lost culture. It was Shorten who was among the first to come to your ladies' aid, a fact you erased when it was no longer convenient. I understand that you don't want to let yourself feel responsible for the atrocities your ancestors and revered heroes committed. But you cannot honestly expect us to submit, like lambs to the slaughter, so you might sleep more peacefully at night.
