Mm, good call. I've checked the definition of the Spirit School in the codex entry and you're right. "Students of this school cover everything from direct manipulation of mana and spell energies to the study and summoning of spirits themselves."

That's right. I think they should have included more nature based spells but dispel and barrier seem fine, however what you said applies to fade step. I'm not sure what it does but the name is conflicting with lore on Dalish mages.

I personally liked the Keeper spec from awakening, it needed constant control but it was incredibly effective versus hordes of enemies surrounding the keeper.

Yeah, it was very useful.  Kind of sad that a Dalish mage Inquisitor probably won't be given access to unique nature spells.  I mean, you'd think that each race's mage would have access to some unique spells that aren't available to the others, right?  Like, maybe unique spirit or arcane spells for human mages and maybe unique primal spells for Qunari mages.  Would make sense canonically for them to have at least 1 or 2 unique spells each.

Keeper is going to be the second class I play as simply because Dalish mage.  

 

Defintely going with Assassin for my first class to play as because dual-wield rogue.  Dual-wield rogues, FTW!

The elven Arcane Warrior is the character that got me interested in MP in the first place.  If I play it, then I'll probably try him out first.  At least, I think he's an elf... I guess he could also be a hornless qunari, but that would be kind of weird...

Ah, almost forgot about Arcane Warrior.  Probably going to be an elf as that makes the most sense canonically.  I'd need to know more about what kind of spells Arcane Warrior has first, though.

I believe that he wanted others to believe he is Dalish, yes. That was my whole point all along: him having vallaslin doesn't actually mean he has to be Dalish.

I totally read your first comment as "I'm probably going to be an elf, (...)", sorry about that.

I haven't finished Last Flight yet, but that could still be Caronel, right? I mean, if you assume the tarot card has taken some artistic liberties and acknowledge the fact that his face i- yeah okay probably not.

Actually, my canon Warden was my dwarf noble, tbh.  He was cocky, friendly, a fairly decent tactician, pretty indifferent on humans and elves, and pretty loyal to Orzammar.  He was pragmatic to a point, believing that sometimes going with what you feel is right is better than choosing the 'logical' choice.  I suppose he was more along the lines of Neutral Good?  Seems appropriate, imo.

 

As for Darrian, he was more along the lines of Chaotic Neutral.  He valued his fellow elves above anyone else, to the point that he would be more than willing to die to protect them.  He's not very friendly towards humans (obviously), he rejects the Chantry, and he comes off as cold and ruthless, but that is mostly due to his anger towards humans (picture him like Fenris, only angrier and his anger being focused on humans instead of mages).  Under all that anger, however, he's really caring and fiercely loyal, though it takes a lot for that to show.  He is quick to anger around humans, especially when fellow elves are threatened, and he's utterly ruthless to his enemies.  I like to headcanon that learning that the Tevinter mages were kidnapping elves to make them into slave sent him over the edge and he went on a murderous rampage, killing any Tevinter in sight.  He also executed Loghain personally, for obvious reasons.  He had come to trust Alistair by the time of the Landsmeet, so he supported him for the throne, basically telling Anora to take a hike.  Despite his distrust for Morrigan, he did the DR because he wasn't about to die to save a world where his people were treated as second-class citizens, not to mention that he didn't want Alistair to end up killing the archdemon, which would end up with Anora on the throne.  I headcanon that he stayed as Teyrn of the Denerim alienage in the years after the Blight, helping to improve the living conditions there and putting forward movements to improve living conditions in all Fereldan alienages, despite what the other nobles thought about it.

 

... yeah, I kind of went overboard with my description for Darrian.  He is my favorite Warden, so I tend to be more descriptive of him than my other Wardens...  

 

Oh, neither of them romanced anyone.  Didn't romance anyone with my DN because the height difference took the seriousness away from whatever romance I could've done and I didn't romance anyone with Darrian because 2 of the 3 LIs for a male Warden were human (couldn't see him getting along with Morrigan or Leliana enough to develop a relationship with them) and he was straight, so no to Zevran.  I could headcanon that Darrian eventually bumped into Merrill and they sort of ended up together, but it probably wouldn't work because I romanced Merrill when I imported Darrian into DA2, so...

 

Hmm... not sure who else I could headcanon him ending up with, tbh.  Meh, I'll work on it later.  Not like I need to have him end up with anyone, anyway.  

 

Oh, also, I plan on importing all my playthroughs into DA:I.

Hrrrrmmm...I've had most of my mods in there since the dawn of time and couldn't possibly keep track of them all at this point, but I'm pretty sure it's Bandit Emporium.

 

It's the only one I can think of that actually adds scars to the CC rather than just the toolset, I think.
