No doubt. Good thing Bioware won't let us romance any of them...
Well, there's Sera but that won't come into play for me until... 5th playthrough at the earliest? 3rd or 4th is a female, but she is romancing Iron Bull. I'll eventually make it there, but that's just not good enough considering how great they've looked in CC.
Anyway... Bioware did a great job on the elves this time. I know that some folks liked the deer/rabbit/human hybrids from DA2 but that's just too weird for me. I greatly prefer elves that can be made to look traditionally beautiful if we want them to. If they still had huge eyes and mandatory humps on top of their noses, that would have killed my enthusiasm for the race in DA:I. Shoes are also a big plus.
Of course. But where were you when certain members were quoting each other over and over, the literally filled two pages. That's not "opinion" that's plain sight trolling in an "adult forum" which even makes it sadder.
A: The Dalish must die
B: (quoting A ) Yes we tear them to pieces
A: (quoting B ) Boiling them is better
B: (quoting A ) Fire seems better, and we will make the useful ones slaves
And this goes on and on.
Trolling implies that they aren't serious. I've known these people for a while now, and I'll go ahead and say that they very much are.

You could bump that playthrough up
my cullen mancer got bumped up to first. ![]()
XD agreed. Hopefully the CC will enable both homely and comely elven lassies.

Hm... the Templar is second, but if I move the necromancer to 3, then maybe this new character could be 4th...? Yeah, I could see that. I haven't given this potential character any thought at all, but I suppose this will give me something to do while I wait for the game to be released. Maybe a rogue? Elven rogue? Hm...
We know for a fact that the game is not mod friendly, however visual/eyecandy mods could still be very possible. I hope its the case.
I'm hoping so because I doubt hair dlc will come. And I can't be having my qunari ladies with hair that's such a hot mess. Nope. She's too fabulous for that.

But yeah I have to give my human female more thought now since she got bumped up to number one.

Yes, the thing with the qunari hairstyles...
Nasty bit of business that was. Well, hopefully this new char captures your heart like the old one.
She won't be as pretty as an elf, of course, but she can still look nice for a human.
I pretty much always go Elf on Fantasy RPGs.

I think she will.
I enjoyed the downcast noble in DAO so DAI will just be a return to form. Hopefully she can have a glorious rise to influence like my warden did. It should be interesting.
Pfft my lady Quizzy shall be gorgeous. ![]()
But yeah bishie male elf. I'll make him even if I don't play him.
This might be the game where I can finally make a bishie in a BW game ![]()

I'm not a fan of playing elves, but I am kind of sore we can't be elf-blooded, probably.
I've always loved the elves in Dragon Age, especially the Dalish. I liked how dark the CE origin was, but I'm not really attached to it like a lot of people seem to be. My favorite playthrough was my Dalish Mage (yay mods!). I'm very happy that I'll get to play one in DA:I, though it will likely be my third playthrough (Mage!Trevelyan and Rogue!Adaar have dibs on first and second).
What I noticed is that there are Dalish supporters, not elven, and they get the all worked up if someone even dares point out something wrong about the Dalish. And since they get so easily offended, of course there are those that are going to pock them.
My main is an elven mage. I'd have played a Dalish mage if they had it in Origins, but really...all Dalish have some major messed up priorities and need to move on. I don't see them as these perfect sparkling beings, puking rainbows and farting stardust who can do no wrong.
Personally I've always kind of liked the City Elves. Some of the Dalish seem a little rude but I can kind of see why they are like that.
So that cc eh, anyone get ideas about what their elf inquisitor will look like now that we've seen how extensive the cc is?

I know exactly what I'm going to do, I just have no idea what hairstyles will be available for male elves. If they share the ones that human males have... well, I can work with that I guess.

I highly doubt that all of them have messed up priorities. A good number of them probably just want to be left alone to live in peace, like isolationist mages. I agree that due to being separate all of the time, each clan has its own "quirks", some more than others. A society's flaws as well as its ideals are part of what makes members of said society fun to roleplay.
Thank you to all the trolls for ruining my thread
*she says sarcastically*

nah this thread must stay open, otherwise we will get a new one inside three days and lose all the gloriousness in this thread already
