It's probably that in the plot, people recognize you as Dalish by sight, so the tattoos can explain that.

I don't really mind it. If I recall, the only Dalish that don't have tattoos are Dalish children.

Well I was never a fan of them forcing us to be Dalish in the first place, but I honestly didn't think the face tattoos would be required in CC.

They look sooo good, it's a very pleasant surprise. The facial structure, the skin, the hair, the vallaslin... everything is perfect. I think I'm going to spent hours on this character creator

I'm ok with it since we already have to be dalish, it makes sense we'd have to have the face marks.

 

I would like it if we could be city elves, and I'd hate having to be tatood if we could, but since we have to be Dalish anyway I don't mind everyone recognizing us as such.

But the male Dalish's tattoo is practically invisible... his entire face is unobscured.  Heck, I'm really just trusting everyone else to be telling me the truth because I've been looking at this for hours and I still don't see it at all.

Yeah, my best guess is that it's on the left side of his head and actually mixed into his hair (that's probably just the texture of his hair, though...)... I mean, he may as well not have one since it's pretty much invisible.  This should be good news for those who hated the idea of it being mandatory, but that poster didn't seem very pleased...

As far as Ryan said, it's near the ears. And i think Kallen pointed this out before Ryan tweeted about the tattoo's location.
To be clear, I don't see it either, but I'm using my phone.

Where is the face tattoo for that male elf inquisitor? I thought that all elf inquisitors would have mandatory face tattoos because they are Dalish?

I'm a little saddened by that lack of huge eyes though, hopefully that's an option.
