I have always secretly hoped this.  It's not what you see is what you get....there is so much mystery.  I want to walk through the gates throw a nod to ole "sten" and look over to see something like this ready to tear the head off of anyone who doesn't belong.

 

Whole squads of elite masters and also what could only be described as a different breed of Qunaris all ready to lay waste to any opposition to the Qun.  All hidden and complete mysteries no one knows about.

If guys like that are in Par Vollen waiting for the Triumvirate's order to invade Thedas, the southern nations should probably start practicing their Qunlat in advance.

That would be pretty cool... the efforts people have gone through to translate the bits and pieces we've heard in the game are appreciated, but I'd like to see more than just specific phrases.  It's a lot of work to create an entirely new language though, so we may be out of luck.

Maybe you speak the truth, since that guy's sword is as big as a normal qunari.  I hope my Inquisitor gets picked for an interesting role...

 I will let you in on a little secret.  All Qunari know this.  You actually CAN pick your role.  You are judged on merit.  What task are your talents most effective towards....where will you excel.  Is it the military you seek?  Make sure you are bad at everything else.  Just make sure that you are good at the task you seek or you will be replaced.

 

Don't tell anyone though...especially the Tal-Vashoth.  The only thing we have to share with them is the tip or blade of our sword.

Actually there are exceptions made in outstanding cases.  If you truly are good at a task.....it will granted. (except Arishok and Arigena.  Any race can fill, but not sex)

 

The heart of the Qun is to make the most of everything.  A worker performing a task they want to perform in some cases will push results over the top.  If a male really wants to farm (is effective at it) and he has shown he has a gift for it and will utilize it.  He will be a farmer.  He must make sure to STAY productive though.  Qunari are not lax.

No, you should be happy with your role, but if you can work for the better of the Qun elsewhere you will be moved.  It isn't freely given, but it does happen.  It was im pretty sure a dev comment I read talking about it.....are you really going to make me search?

 

If you aren't happy performing where you have been judged to be to the most benefit of the Qun then you are a problem.  I agree with that.  I have no lies about the Qun.  Qun until I die!
