Considering they aren't farm animals?

I'd say so.

They are animals often found on farms, doing large quantities of work.
Hairless apes are totally farm animals.

Just cause it was said they had plans up to Dragon Age 5 doesn't mean 5 will be the last game

I doubt i'll be around to see it come to pass, but i hope you're right.

Every species has its workers, the difference between oxen and "apes" as you declare them seems to be.

You have humans that rise above that.

Within Humanity you have ambition that you simply do not find within Oxen, they are content to serve as beasts of burden, while Humans are not.

Then how come the Qunari Wars ended with a peace treaty? Qunari are people that can be talked to and can negotiate. They are also people that don't want the world to disappear.

Meanwhile, the darkspawn aren't interested in negotiating or in peace treaties. They consume the very land they live in. Killing an Archdemon is not easy. As seen in the same DA:O that began this adventure, they usually travel with the heart of the horde. How can you commando strike it? By disguising yourself as darkspawn?

Not to talk about the concept of Blight being an illusion. When an Archdemon rises, the darkspawn head for the surface. But during all those centuries between blights, they attack the dwarves. The day Orzammar falls is the day that the surface has to fight a continuous Blight.

Also, why are some people thinking that the only way to stop the Qunari is killing them? And that only that way things will change? I mean, even the Old Tevinter Imperium changed and it wasn't wiped out.

The Qunari wars will continue until the Qunari are eradicated, even if we curb stomped them somehow, they'd eventually start war again.
Blights are notable because the Horde becomes organized, the Dwarven sacrifice isn't against the full might of a Blight.

And the Qunari aren't much for compromise, Tevinter changed  when they switched to Andrastism, were the Qunari to do so, they would no longer be Qunari.

I advocate the complete obliteration of the Qunari.

'rise above' to the state of oppressing others?

And how do you know Oxen don't desire to be the best damn oxen there ever has been or ever will be? Seems like an easier goal, more productive to, than becoming something vastly different from what you already are.

I think... After 16 pages..... That we get that.

Good

o.o *goes to prepare the camps*

The species should survive obviously, but in a manner akin to elves.

They will make ideal workers for the coming regime.

So, survive for a couple of centuries and then start another while you're in the middle of two already.
Please, go ahead, I could use the entertainment.

And you keep doing that.  Curse us until the day a Qunari crushes your throat with his foot on his way to lay waste to everything you love and hold as "important" in your selfish ways.

What side do you claim? Elves?  I have said my piece in your thread.

See, I'm fine with the Qunari so long as they keep the Qun to themselves.

I for one welcome most of the nations of Thedas being forced to ingest Qamek. It'd do a lot for their demeanor. Particularly Orlais.

That's a great pic.  If the Tamassrans let me breed with her I would be pleased.  If you like pics like that check out my profile here on the site....there is an amazing Arishok pic and a link to the deviant that made it.  She is very talented.

And that we will.  Until the day the Qun demands we show others the error of their ways.  At no point will we let vashedan talk down to us though.  That will be dealt with.

We are no farm animals!

HA!  The thing about humans.  They always have such a high opinion of themselves.  They think everything else beneath them.  For the most part that relationship works.  With the Qunari it won't.  There always comes a time when you have to perform, you have to back up what you say.  I've heard arrogant hot air from Tevinter soliders, normal humans, elves, and even tal vashoth who have turned on the Qun.

We will put them to the test.  We do not care for words or your opinion of yourselves.  We care about what you do....what you stand for.  Are you worthy?  We know the answer, they do not.  We will teach them.

I for one think all the nations of Thedas should just become chilled out like Rivain. Light up a few doobies and just enjoy life, man.

I know of no Blight that was effected the Qunari.  I have seen darkspawn and I have heard that an archdemon can't even beat a group of humans.  What threat are they to Qunari if thats all it takes to defeat them?

People who earn respect.  Who are strong...who have balls (figuratively speaking) get respect.  You just must be worthy of it.

If the Qunari ever face a Blight by themselves, all I have to say is, "Good Luck with that."
