If the Qunari ever face a Blight by themselves, all I have to say is, "Good Luck with that."
When you have strength, skill, and the best warriors in the land you have no need for luck....
Luck is for humans.
Anann and Ataash are for the Qunari.

You do kind of need Grey Wardens though... Not to mention that the majority of captives the Darkspawn would take would be Qunari.... Meaning a sudden boom in Ogre population... Meaning that if the Qunari did fall, the rest of the world would surely follow.

If Ferelden by itself I'd think the Qunari, who managed every nation combined, could manage it, especially since they don't have to worry about political friction or betrayal.
The Blight would take as long as it took to bring a Warden to wherever they have the half-dead arch-demon trussed and waiting.

Well, I hope there's a Grey Warden around to finish the job when Anann and Ataash bring down the Archdemon.

I'm sure there's a phone number they could look up if they wanted a quick Warden rental. As long as they promise to return them in one piece.

Perhaps the Grey Wardens should introduce themselves then. We know of a Grey Warden Basalit-an. He would be treated as such.
Par Vollen and Seheron will be open in a month or so.

I think the Qunari highly respect all Grey Wardens. Mostly because they can see that Grey Wardens have found their purpose. Something the Qunari really digs.

Sten does get a major Qunari-boner for the Warden if they do the Ultimate Sacrifice.

I just freaking choked on my water.
Thx for that.
I think Sten gets a Qunari boner for the warden regardless given how he invites you to come to Seheron with him XD

That is probably also because Qunari consider it one of the highest honors to die for your cause.

And these Wardens did nothing Wardeny until the final battle. Until then any random fighters authorized to use thease treaties would have been sufficient. I don't think losing a huge army and then being in a civil war countsw as luck. Well, it does, just the miserable kind. And plot armor, what on all of Ferelden? The 5th Blight ended quickly because the Wardens got a hand in events early, which the Qunari would also have.

Nah, Ferelden beat the Blight in a year because it's the land of heroes. That's their only export.

Well, I think that if any Blight is allowed to snowball, it's going to be hard to put down, even for the Qunari. There were earlier blights that lasted the better part of a century, after all.

That's true, as more and more Darkspawn are between you and the Archdemon it's going to be harder and harder to end. I just think the Qunari would look at the Darkspawn, realize what's going on and get to work within months, rather than the year the shortest Blight took.

Right, And enjoy undying Archdemons, just saying.
Dumat died how many times over the centuries during the first blight?

Ferelden was lucky. They weren't strong enough to defeat the darkspawn armies in battle. They were only able to distract them long enough to push the blight's off button.
