The species should survive obviously, but in a manner akin to elves.
They will make ideal workers for the coming regime.
Indeed, someone has to pull all the carts and plows around, how else do you expect farmers to till the fields properly?

If the Qunari know what they are facing, and contact Weisshaupt Fortress quickly, they could tramp down a Blight pretty quickly.
But if the Blight picks up some momentum before the Qunari are able to respond, well that's going to be a long, unpleasant war.
Especially since the Tevinters, scoundrels that they are, will probably try to help the Blight along if they can.

Or at least attack the Qunari while they're busy. I don't know if they could really help the Darkspawn without risking themselves.

All they really need to do is run interference with the Grey Wardens and tie up the Qunari military. Then just let the Blight do the rest.
If it results in the Blight invading Tevinter? Well, Minrathous' walls have kept out the Blight before. A small price to pay to be ride of the Qunari.

I'm pretty sure blocking the Grey Wardens would be grounds for another Exalted March, and while they weathered the last one, I don't think they'd invite another. But we don't know how desperate they are to see the elimination of the Qunari, so maybe.

These are the same people who broke into Heaven just because they could. If it's evil and stupid, the Magisters will probably try it.

First, that is a Tevinter long since past second they did it because they craved power, not just because they could.
Stupid Magisters won't last long, it's not a survival trait.

How would a blight even reach the Qunari? To my knowledge the Deep Roads don't run under Par Vollen, and darkspawn can't cross water.

I'm more than a bit biased against the Tevinter Imperium, it's true. But I wouldn't be surprised if they tried burn he world just to spite the Qunari. Or just for power, there's that too.

For the hypothetical Qunari Blight, I'm assuming the Darkspawn made a wrong turn Albuquerque.

If a magister thought he could turn the world into a big enough mana battery I'm sure he would try, and I can imagine a Magister using his death in a plot to bring down an enemy. But both Tevinter and self falling? I don't see too many Magisters signing up for that.

FYI. I was talking with Mark, Allen and the rest of the guys today.....we were talking about Qunari and I was expressing my approval of the +10% Melee defense buff as a racial bonus to Qunari they said they thought it was the best choice as well as Qunari are the best race in the game and they wanted to reflect that. We decided that after the kids and golf and dinner this weekend we are going to talk about Qunari Warriors dual wielding 2 handed weapons as special CLASS bonus and the only one in the game. They love the idea and praised me on my thought process and idea. It sounding pretty good. We are going to take our bikes for a run through the mountains and discuss it further over the view. I think its a go. They seem to really want it in the game. Good news for us.
Sunday I have to head over to Cali so I can spend a few days with my gf Bridgette Wilson and take my black Aventador out so I should have a concrete answer for you by then.
Cross your fingers. A very cool bonus that is so fitting of a Qunari warrior

Dwarves are pretty nifty with their language.
Considering they said they are revamping weapons this game, it could be feasible for all races to duel wield.
There wouldn't be a reason for it to exclusive period.

I do think all races should duel wield. daggers for rogues, swords for warriors (maybe swords for Qunari rogues...idk how the balance would go), and 2 handed swords for Qunari warriors. I hope as they build on what they have for Inquisition for their next game put this feature back into DA.

Dual wielding is often done with daggers idk why people got bummed about warriors having 2H and s&s. Heck magics only have staves give the somthing(or at least the option of not using them). If warriors duel wield again the have 3 weapon sets theyd just powerful rogues. Exculsivity is good..ish
It's because dual wielding is so good in DA. I can't remember the skills I used, but I would ball up the enemies and then have attacks that hit all of them....entire groups melted. I had aura of pain and stuff, but my bar was a lot of dual wielding skills....it was so good I started 2 handing for a change of pace....and I like some of the skills like "indomitable" love that one!
