I am afraid I am going to have to support Tevinter and humanity overall. Magic makes gods out of mortals. Enlightenment is nice for mundies, but if have more ambition than just finding 'purpose'. First thing my Male human mage inquisitor is going to do is march right into the Black City and claim it for himself. Who knows what could happen?
That's a shame. Magic makes you what don't earn and what you really aren't.

For my second playthrough I plan on making a Qunari mage that's favorable to Tevinter. It will be very interesting I think.

Hey guys lets post qunari inq backgrounds that we plan on using. Ill share mine if you do. (Would go first but self-conscience
)
I'm always kinda hesitant to think up anything backstory-related before the game is actually out.
I kinda like the idea of the Inquisitor's mother being someone who refused to give up her child to the Tamassrans when he/she was born, and fled the Qun because of it. Won't become too attached to that idea, though, lest it not be true. :S

Nonsense, Snook. I've already written one:
Followers of the strict religious philosophy of the Qun, the Qunari appeared like a tidal wave to the north of Thedas three hundred years ago. My character is a Tal-Vashoth, a Qunari who has rejected the Qun and never even lived in Qunari lands. He has earned a place within the Valo-kas mercenary company as its mage, possessing abilities that would have made him a pet slave among his own people, ignoring the fearful looks he'd receive from those around him. Most recently the company was sent to the Chantry conclave, hired swords meant to keep the peace—a task that has gone horribly wrong.

Woah, that's pretty in-depth. I can tell you put some time into this.

Ooh this is pretty nice.
I wonder if we'll meet any Inquisitor family members in DA:I...and if they'll do 'adjustments' like DA2 with regards to appearance.

I actually kinda hope not.
Because even with the system where their appearance changes to match your character, I still felt adopted every single time. ![]()

Saraas(qunlat for dangerous)addar
Age:23 human years
Mage
Background: born to two qunari that fled the qun they lived weathly due to the merc band they joined at 15 he decieds to join the valo-kas guild in a way to make a name for himself. after 8 years in the band he was known as a poor mage but well liked in his band. He and his friend taraas were the only magi in the group so they had a reciprecal mentorship for there skill sets. A squad was sent to the delegation as extra security which was fine til dung hit the fan.
Personality: like his name implies saraas was a dangerous force on the battlefield... to both friend and foe and was often known as "accident boy" by the older members. While he was always self-conscience about his skills it never clouded his calm and laxidazical views which the valo-kas valued more than his skills as a mage since most of them were harsh on non-valshoth or spoke little of the common tongue

My Qunari is a female Qunari mage named Asaara Adaar (Asaara is Qunlat for wind), she's extremely rebellious and distrustful of most authority and very pro mage. She's very likely to try and end the Templars and do everything she can to empower the Elves, Tal'Vashoth and the Mages, preferably while weakening the Templars, the Qun and the Dwarves. As for the rest of the nations of Thedas she has mixed feelings on them, as they are both tyrants but have (in her opinion) good aspects as well.

She told me "everything will be private...no one will know" "we can do whatever we feel and just have fun...enjoy eachother"
I am now seeing that ALL Tevinter supporters are corrupt. I will not forget this and they will never corrupt the Qun!
