So disappointed hair and horns are the same.  Saw lots of horns I liked, no hair.  Oh, well.

Yeah I kind of did a double take on that.....wtf!?  I have MP though so no biggie.

On a more serious note. We don't know the challenges of development. I am disappointed, sure. But it doesn't change my excitement to play as a Qunari. My love for them is an overall aesthetic, of which nice hair is only 5% of. And as far as I understand it, Tal-Vashoth have tough lives. Mercenary work is usually all they are suited for and they live under constant threat of the Arvaarad. I headcanon the hair as a matter of practicality.

 

I didn't submit to the Qun, I will not submit to bad hair either.. I will find me a Elven stylist and she will perfect my look or so help me nobody is being led anywhere with my hair looking like a goddamn mess! -Female Qunari Inquisitor to Josephine and Cassandra.

Indeed. We know that Bioware tried, Sera had flowing locks in one of the early gameplay videos. It kinda sucks that we don't get longer hair, but meh I'll live, we have seen hairstyles that look good anyway, long or no.

 

I was pretty disappointed in the qunari hair but at least their horns look friggen sweet.

Having horns and hair as separate sliders would likely result in having hair clip through horns.  That probably proscribed by the Qun.

My sentiments exactly. Honestly, I just hope the Qunari will continue to be a playable race in future games.

 

Though I am curious about one thing. I love facial warpaint on Qunari. Absolutely love it. However, our "head slot" is Vitaar. Which, as far as I understand, means we may not have control over its color and when it's worn. So, if we're in Skyhold, in casual attire, does that mean we won't have the facial markings? I'm rather more concerned about that then the hair. If that's the case, I'll be pretty disappointed. I'll live, of course, and it most definitely won't keep me from playing the Qunari, but it is something I am curious about.

I wasn't expecting long hair, but I was expecting something closer to the hairstyles from DAO.  The horns are just lovely, though.  I can only assume they thought flashy hairstyles would detract from them.

Which ones are you all planning on? I'm thinking I might go for one of the metal-tipped ones. Just to think she got it cut off and tried to replace it with something.

You know, I think I only really care about the facial hair options for my male Qunari.  I think I can live with him being bald if the male hair styles suck, as long as I can give him some kind of good facial hair.  Then again, what I'm picturing might interfere with the vitaar...*sigh*

 

Frankly, though, my qunquisitor's appearance is pretty malleable in my head, so I think I'll be able to live with whatever options are available.

 

Just as long as I can give him radioactive green eyes.

That's my female Saarebas from when I was hoping to romance her to Cullen.  I'll be using a male to romance Cassandra instead.  She's made on a dollmaker someone posted on the Varric thread, a lot of good ones got passed around.

 

I am excited for the color wheels.  I always give my mages white hair and supernaturally light eyes, as though the magic is bleaching the color out of them.  Can't wait to test the main channel/liner combos they got.

The spikey ones.  Just can't figure out how they put them on the first place.  Is it hinged, or is it more like a mold they put on when they're young and grow into?

Apparently the qunari could use some support in the hair growth department. The only style I like (and "like" is too strong of a word - more like tolerate) is the mohawk.

My tolerance is for the bun though. If only it was a bit thicker it'd be just fine. Alas.

 

Studded horns and bun if mods turn out to be impossible.

 

But I'll give the modders plenty of time with my first few runs XD

I was very curious, after seeing the female choices, I'm afraid we'll get very few combinations too. At least if we have a bald one, I might use it (but I bet it will have long horns, I wanted so badly to have a bald and hornless qunari ). But I will be very dissapointed if we don't get facial hair options.

Unfortunately I'm on a console so the modding thing doesn't apply. Regardless, I'd like to see some DLC that improves our options. Seems like EA kinda goes that route of fixing things with DLC. 

 

Oh.

 

Those hairstyles would have to be elaborate as heck for me to justify paying for them. especially since there's plenty of human styles that could've been convered for use for lady qunari =/

 

But if they are then sure.

 

Hopefully they'd come with a magic mirror we could use to change our face XD
