That and if it's in the name of an oppressed minority. Then anything's okay.
Gotta love them sweet sweet double standards ![]()

I see this thread is nice and civil
Personally, I love elves.
I think every human should own one.

This is just the Dales 2.0. We're being historically accurate, Steel.

You really should get a breeding pair, more expensive upfront, but it saves costs down the road when they start breaking down and you need to replace the old models.

I'd love an elf...or four.
So lanky and lithe...*drools*
I like the idea; but are there Dalish "civilians"
I mean sure all those who aren't hunters could be classified as that technically i suppose, but to have a civil population you generally need a country.
They do not; They are a nomadic group of gypsies traipsing about the countryside.
You have a point there Master Warder. Hmm, this brings me back to my VX nerve gas plan. It was originally meant as a pesticide and since the dalish are pests, the shoe fits pretty well.
Now you people are calling for the enslavement and rape of elves again....
I don't know why I even bother

As much as I like talking smack about Dalish, I'd rather focus on the awesomeness of humans.

I'm contemplating renaming it to something more appropriate. Maybe the 'Fictional Genocide Thread.'
A place where people from both sides are welcome to come sling it at eachother.

No we aren't. Elves seem pretty happy to sleep with humans on their own. Who are we to stand in their way?(hint: not other elves.)

You came in the Human Support Thread all outraged that we exist and calling for the destruction of human nations because they were mean to the elves while showing that you take this very seriously.
What did you think was going to happen?
"I won't kill him. I'll just throw him naked in the Amazonia."
Seriously, have your revenge fantasies all you like but what you're suggesting is destroying the homeland of millions of people, their culture and leave them defenseless before invading forces.
Own up to it.
If I convince the peasants to kill off their own ruling class, is it still my fault when it all turns to ****?

Depends on whether or not you ask certain elf fans ![]()

No, they plan to murder the ruling class and watch as the country descends into chaos. Then rebuild the Dales out of that, even though that doesn't make any sense at all.
Do you think elves are related to parrots? They are both capable of imitating human sounds.
I'd rather focus on the awesomeness of humans.
So would I. Preferably with some respect and less baiting.

Some people can't resist grabbing a hate-boner when they see one.
Anyway, It'll be interesting in see how House Trevalyan is featured in the game. The human Inquisitor's family is supposed to heavily involved in the Chantry. I wonder if that means there will be people in the Chantry who actually knew our character before everything blew up.

Indeed. And since they specifically mention that our family members are in the Chantry, I wonder if we actually have family members in the upper echelons, like Cleric or Grand Cleric in the Free Marches.
Maybe not our character but it's possible those involved with the Chantry or Templars or even mages might have heard of the family.
I wouldn't mind hearing stories about previous Trevalyans who became legendary Templars, for instance.

The clergy in Ostwick maybe, though I'm not sure we'd actually personally know anybody outside of there. They may have heard of our family though. I'd be surprised if there weren't some paths opened up to human characters on some heavily Chantry-related questlines.
I wonder who smiths the weaponry and armor for Chevaliers.

I'd imagine so. Oh God, if you run a Human Mage...what if you have either siblings or cousins that are Templars in Ostwick's Circle?
I wonder who smiths the weaponry and armor for Chevaliers.
Trust me, they got people for that. I'd imagine a bunch of people would kill for the honor to smith weapons for Chevaliers.
