tbh the only one of those scenes I didn't like that much was Jowan.

...because I had already given up on Jowan at that point. :S

Who hadn't.

That idiot dug his own grave.

Well.. I kind of like the idea of him going into the fade to save Connor as a kind of redemption story, and that's the way I completed that mission for a couple of playthroughs.. but it grew hard to justify sending a mentally weak fool to challenge a demon in a test of mental strength. That was the end of Jowan's heroics.

Howe was like a Bolton in the wrong universe

He was like the really dumb in-law of roose. So essentially a frey.

Guy sees my human noble tear through his dungeon and guards with a mage, a qunari, and the assassin he hired to kill me, and he's all like "I can take them head on in my old age. Get me my battle skirt and my kukri machete sword, knave."

All scumbag, no brains.

Haha! I knew you were a bunch of filthy lefties. Real conservatives maintain that the colonies had no right to rebel against the Crown in the first place. Damn the french for saving you lot, what with their lack of hygiene and their inappropriate amount of body hair.

I approve of this thread as long as you keep your hatred of other races confined in this thread like you are doing right now. Its constructive really.

In fact I'm gonna roleplay Inquisitor Adrastia. Bald female human mage! Adrastia is bald btw for those who didn't know, that's why she always wears a hat. Humans always need people like her to fall in line, a reminder than her word can destroy entire planets if you get corrupt or betray what you swore to do. Every single human in the empire fears an Inquisitor.

Ah but Dwarves and humans are natural allies, a dwarf supporting humans is no more traitorous than a human supporting the dwarves.

I didn't know Adrastia was a psyker. I personally prefer the musketeer style hat than the dragon helm. My Inquisitor is largelyiinspired by Eliphas the Inheritor, Abhnur Tharn, Blackadder, Ahzek Ahriman, Tyrion Lannister and Saruman. Combined you have a human mage inquisitor of cunning wit and phenomenal magical power.

I'm not sure what you're talking about to be honest. There's a difference between hate and thinking we're better.

I didn't. I released him from the dungeon and told him to leave, because he didn't deserve whatever fate was in store.

She's not bald in that picture, at least; you can see a strand or two of red hair coming out of her hat.

Like most psykers she suffers from heavy hair loss, maybe she was not fully bald yet in that picture but she is bald. Its acknowledged in the game with rather humorous dialogue.

Maybe you think humans are simply better, what I was talking about in other threads is pure hatred. Boiling elves alive has nothing to do with humans being better.

Adrastia would be cool.  But I don't see you pulling it off without the awesome space-puritan hat.

Inquisitors from the Warhammer 40K Universe are a major source of inspiration for my character. I tend to agree with the Radicals than the Puritans. The universe of Warhammer is especially rich in history, myths and magic. The Chantry may be faulty religion, but it's our religion. The chaos of the Breach is the perfect time for reformation, especially in regards to their attitudes towards magic. Only united under one cause or nation can humanity hope to survive the alien, the heretical and the daemonic.

Adrastia is quite firm in her efforts to restore peace and she never hesitates to take help when she can get it. She has teamed up with Eldar several times specially against Chaos.

Hah, its definitely not something that can be found in Orlesian fashion

I know this is a radical thing to do, allying with *shudder* aliens in order to defeat a corrupted Space Marine Chapter Master and prevent the extermination of an entire sub sector. This simply highlights the seriousness the threat Chaos poses to humanity. I respect her immensely for this reason.

This has always been a topic of contention, on one hand is the Imperium of Man on the other the Dark Gods. Order and Chaos. Which is better?

Finally decided how my human is going to play out.  I like to get a balance of the class combinations in DA so. Rogue - Mage - Warrior. And as it is most likely that I'll be doing at least two world states it works out quite well with playthroughs.  I was most interested with the human background story and find it quite a integral element to the mage and Templar aspect of the game.  So will be rolling as both a mage and a Templar.

My female human will be a Templar.  After reading Asunder, I quite liked the representation of a non-blinded by "all mages are evil blood mages" of a female Templar.  Evangeline was one of my favourite characters in the book so I hope that my Elinor Trevelyan will also follow in Evangeline's footsteps to some degree of being a sympathetic but just Templar who is willing to stand up for mages (unless they happen to be blood mages...).

My male human will be a mage.  I haven't figured out what spec to allocate for him because they all sound like so much fun.

Neither, it's a false choice. All souls go to Chaos in the end. Only the Eldar and Necrons have ways to counteract that. Worshiping a near-corpse isn't going to fix anything.
