Templar had by far the most stylish and awesome looking attacks, so it wins by default.
What do you mean? Templar spec in DA2 has no unique animation.

I'm talking about the special abilities, especially Cleanse.

I love being a human, I can't wait to be a Templar and hunt the elves and mages down.
Humans ftw

Human pro-circle mage. Something like young Wynne.
I don't know why but i really don't like elves. Humans are a terrible race (mostly ignorant and arrogant) but I like them the most.

Then you clearly haven't seen blood mage animations or especially the spirit healers resurrect ability. The dead character glows, magically levitates from the ground and starts breathing again. Its a joke to compare this to movement of sword or hand, but again whatever floats your boat.
Also holy smite shares the same animation with Tremor, also a warrior ability.

headcanon a connectionI realize that a Tevinter imagery doesn't necessarily mean that the humans are related to the Imperium . The Dwarf symbol isthe heraldry of House Aeducan, and we're a casteless surfacer from House Cadash and a member of the Carta. The Qunarisysymbol is the one of the religion and we're a Tal'Vasoth mercenary. I hope I am wrong . Big fan of Tevinter Imperium.

It could very well be related, but who knows. A lot of the Free Marches are leftover remnants of the old Tevinter empire. Doesn't have anything to do with the present imperium though.

I am looking forward to my human warrior playthrough. He will be a devout follower of the Chantry, and while he will publicly embrace the Herald of Andraste title to give the people hope, in private he will be uncomfortable with the mantle.
As a noble, he will be generally unconcerned about the plight of servants or bandit savages, but the dwarves and their Merchant Guild will rate his attentions.
And it should go without saying that Magic should serve Man. From the Circles. Watched carefully by the noble Templar order.
almost exactly what I want my Human Inquisitor to be
but rather than uncomfortable with it he will embrace being the "Herald of Andraste"

Even though I will roll a Qunari at some point my canon Inquisitor will definitely be human
I absolutely loved the Human Noble Origin in DA:O the others not so much
And I also liked playing as Hawke in DA2 so its only fitting that the Inquisitor is also a human (the three most powerful men in Thedas)
And I don't know why but playing as a Dwarf or Elf in DA just seems strange to me
I remember playing a Dwarf Noble in DA:O and I liked it until Ostagar then I was like this guy doesn't belong here
with all the humans surrounding him (the same with city elf) almost like an outsider
I guess thats just me

I know it feels a little out of place at first, but that's just Ostagar. It's less so later on.

That's actually why I preferred playing as an elf or a dwarf. I don't think the outsider feeling is a bad thing.

Heh. I just felt ridiculous as an elf, when you meet Flemeth.. you look like a little kid standing next to those guys.

I liked the height difference too. Made it rather amusing when your Warden was the only one there not wetting themselves in fear. :S

Not really, for the most part all they usually are given is the ability to reach advanced age and slightly keener senses, that's base crap that hardly matters in combat.
Actually that's what I find the most appealing part of elves, it's not the super-powers [who gives a sh!t about those, in a fantasy setting just about anyone can get super powers for any reason just by having the label 'PC']. Its the perspective they bring by having such long lives. The potential of being able to see 'what happens next' in near perpetuity seems to me at least to be a very appealing concept.
In DA its the concept of being able to get that, or get it back, that makes elves, or at least the Dalish, appealing. While I have sympathy for the city elves they're rather pointless as far as I am concerned. City Elf #54633 is pretty much interchangeable with human peasant #67832 in most instances.
--- --- ---
With regards to humans, for me its never really been a question or appealing/not-appealing, humans just are, like we are in real life. In fantasy settings I prefer not to play them since it seems in some respect to diminish the 'fantasy' part of it all, although I also think humans tend to be absolutely beneficial in a wider sense to fantasy settings since they provide good contrast to the fantastical bits.
When it comes to most sci-fi settings though I'm pretty much a human master race type of guy.
