Try to guess my spoofs/references, and/or make your own and have us guess yours.

Scene: Shepard making his speech to his crew.

Shepard: Crew, this is your commander. It is an honor to speak to you today, and I am honored to be flying with you on the maiden voyage of the Alliance's most recent achievement.

Once more, we play our dangerous game, a game of chess, against our latest adversary, the Turian Navy. For many years, your fathers before you and your older brothers played this game and played it well. But today, we have the advantage.

Our own fleet doesn't know our full potential. They will do everything possible to test us; but they will only test their own embarrassment. We will leave our fleet behind, we will pass through the Turian patrols, past their detection nets, and lay off their home-planet, and listen to them doing their business, while we conduct our drills.

Then, when we are finished, the only sound they will hear is our laughter, while we fly to Thessia, where the beaches are nice and hot,.. and so are the locals.

(Crew whoops and hollers)

A great day, crew. We fly into history.

End Scene

Alright people, let's have it.

I don't get it. If you told me the scene already, what do I have to guess?

What movie am I ripping off? It's called a "spoof" for a reason.

And I just realized that links can't be posted... so I can't show directly from where....

He made a VERY minute reference to it...

Anyway, why didn't you come right out and say it? Can you make a spoof of your own?

Garrus: What's the plan then?
shep: Right.
[cuts to dream sequence]
shep: We take the Normandy, we go to the Omega IV relay, we go in, take care of the collector base - "I'm so sorry, TIM" - then we come back, we go over to Ash's place, hole up, have a cup of tea and wait for this whole thing to blow over.
Garrus: Why have we got to go to Ash's?
shep: Because we do.
Garrus: But she dumped you!
shep: I have to know if she's all right!
Garrus: Why?
shep: Because I love her!
Garrus: All right... gayyy... I'm not staying there, though.
shep: Why not?
Garrus: If we hole up, I wanna be somewhere familiar, I wanna know where the exits are, and I wanna be allowed to smoke.
shep: Okay.
[cuts to dream sequence again]
shep: We take the Normandy, go to the relay, go in, deal with the base - "Sorry, TIM!" - come back, go to Ash's, pick her up, bring her back here, have a cup of tea and wait for this whole thing to blow over.
Garrus: Perfect!
shep: No, no, no, no, no, wait, we can't bring her back here.
Garrus: Why not?
shep: Well, it's not really safe, is it?
Garrus: Yeah, look at the state of it.
shep: Where's safe? Where's familiar?
Garrus: Where can I smoke?
[shep and Garrus pause then slowly make a realisation]
shep: [cuts to dream sequence a third time] Take the Normandy. Relay. Zap the base - "Sorry." - grab Ash, go to Afterlife, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of salarian liver?
Garrus: Yeah, boyyyeee!
[shep and Garrus clang their rifles together]

James: My name's James Vega. My friends call me... uh, 'Party' Vega. You might have noticed that, uh, I've got a slight weight problem.
Soldiers: Nooo! Noooo!
James: Yeah, yeah I do. Yeah, I do. I went to this doctor. Well, he told me I swallow a lot of aggression... along with a lot of pizzas! Ha Ha Ha! Pizzas! I'm basically a shy person, I'm a shy guy. Uh, he suggested taking one these uh, aggression training courses. You know these aggression training courses like N7? those type of things. Anyway, it cost 400 creds! 400 creds to join this thing? Well I didn't have the money and I thought to myself, "Join the Alliance!" It's free. So I figured while I'm here I'll lose a few pounds. And you got what, a 6 to 8 week training program here? A real tough one. Which is perfect for me.
[Looks around at all the soldiers and gestures emphatically]
James: I'm going to walk out of here a Lean, Mean, Fightin' Machine! Ha ha ha ha!

Miranda: Hello, TIM.
TIM: What's her condition?
Miranda: Comatose.
TIM: Where is she?
Miranda: I'm standing over her right now.
TIM: That's my girl. Miranda, you're gonna have to abort the control chip.
Miranda: WHAT?
TIM: We owe her better than that.
Miranda: NO YOU DON'T! YOU DON'T OWE HER SH*T!
TIM: Will you keep your voice down?
Miranda: [whispering] You don't owe her ****!
TIM: May I say one thing?
Miranda: Speak.
TIM: You saw the shape she was in when you retrieved her. But it didn't kill her, not entirely. The collectors may as well have put a bullet in her head, but her heart just kept on beatin'. Now, you saw that yourself with your own beautiful blue eyes, did you not? We've done a lot of things to this lady to bring her back. And if she ever wakes up, we'll ask her to do a whole lot more. But one thing we won't do is sneak into her brain like a filthy rat in the night and implant that control chip. And the reason we won't do that thing is because... that thing would lower us. Don't you agree, Miss Lawson?
Miranda: I guess.
TIM: Do you really have to guess?
Miranda: [sighs] No. I don't really have to guess. I know.
TIM: Come on home, honey.
Miranda: Affirmative.
TIM: I love you very much.
Miranda: I love you, too. Bye-bye.

Luckily for the crew of the Normandy, In space, nobody can hear you sing the Russian Soviet national anthem.

I'll just go ahead and quote a couple of my favorite spoofs that were posted in your original thread.

Deinon Slayer, on 21 Nov 2013-11:25PM, said:

Major Coates: "OK, listen up, dirtbags. If we're gonna reach the Conduit, we need a good game plan. Now, I have two options we can use. Number one, we run at the beam in a single file line, screaming at the top of our lungs! The enemy will be so flabbergasted, by the time they have a chance to regroup, we'll already be inside.

James: Oh, yeah, right. They're not going to get surprised, they're just going to start mowing us down.

Major Coates: That is the inherent beauty of the single file line! They can only kill the person in front. So if we order from least important to most important, with James being in the front and me being in the back, then we just might make it through.

Garrus: Don't you think that Shepard should be in the back, since he's the protagonist?

Major Coates: No, Shepard is in front of me. We need someone in back who can objectively evaluate how the plan is working.

James: How are you going to know if the plan isn't working?

Major Coates: If Shepard gets shot, I'll know we're in trouble, and immediately abort.

Shepard: I think that's a good plan!

A little musical spoof or parody on an ME theme.

{Narrator}

It’s astounding, All this Reaping

A harvest oh so cold

If you listen closely; you can hear Harbinger

He wants to assume control

{Harbinger}

I remember the call of my master

Time to reap the galaxy

The darkness would lighten and a voice would be calling

{Reaper Chorus}

Let’s do some Reaping Again Let’s do some Reaping Again

{Harbinger} So now we Reap to the Left

{Reaper Chorus} And Then we Reap to the Right

{Harbinger} With Gigantic Ships

{Reaper Chorus} And Death Rays For Eyes

But Indoctrination really drives them insane

Oh Let’s Do Some Reaping Again

Let’s Do Some Reaping Again

{Star Child}

It’s So Dreamy to reap freely

Organics can’t hurt me, no not at all

From another dimension with Nihilistic intention

From the Citadel.  I SEE ALL

{Harbinger} With a blast of my mind ray

{Star Child}  You’re indoctrinated

{Harbinger} And your mind will never be the same

{Star Child} You’re spaced out, totally wasted

{Harbinger} Completely Indoctrinated

{Reaper Chorus}So Let’s Do Some Reaping Again

{Cerberus Phantom}

I was sitting on Horizon just having a think

When this Illusive Guy gave me an Evil Wink

He shook me up took me by surprise

He had a cigarette and some funny eyes

He stared at me and I felt a change

Time meant nothing; never would again

{Reaper Chorus} Let’s do some reaping again

And another musical spoof lyric

Verse 1
A long long time ago
I can still remember how Mass Effect used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make my Shepard dance
And maybe I’d be happy for a while
In February I was all a quiver

Wondering what ME3 would deliver

The hype reached into space

Soon I would be able to save my race

So I bought the game with pride

From my Shep, the Reapers would run and hide

Then something touched me deep inside

The day the galaxy died

Chorus

It's the final slice of Mass Effect Pie

Flew old Mandy through the galaxy

Now the end was in sight

Got all the races fighting by my side

Today’s the day The Reapers die

Today’s the day that they die

Now for many years we've been on our quest

No time to sleep, no time to rest

Got to save the galaxy
So Shepard saved the Krogan Queen
And gave the Krogan a chance to dream

By curing the genophage

But before the Krogan could sing their songs

Cerberus found an ancient bomb

The Turian prince sadly died, but now they’ll join the fight

And while Shepard raced old Mandy thru space

The Council was in a desperate place

Cerberus troops were on the case

The day the galaxy died

We were singing

Chorus

Shepard foils the coup on the citadel

When the council is attacked by a beast out of hell

Stops the attack but loses a friend

Victim of an assassins blade,

Then a Friend points a gun in the hero’s face

But again the council is saved

Now the Quarians were in a desperate place

They’d started a war to save their race

They launched an attack fated only to fail

And the Geth made a desperate betrayal

The Geth had made a deal with the Reapers

And they had helped them think deeper

Shepard had to change to fight the sleepers

The day the galaxy died

We were singing

Chorus

Shepard has to journey to Thessia

Before it is lost to the Reapers

With little time on his side

So Come on Shepard Be nimble, be quick

The assassins plot armour is thick

Shepard stumbles loses the prize

So again Shepard journeys through space

His hands clenched in fists of rage

Into the bowels of hell

He breaks Sanctuary’s spell

So on again with new will for the fight

The Cerberus base is in sight

To win he has to trust an AI

The day the galaxy died
We were singing

Chorus

Shepard returns to Earth’s Skies

Where the Reapers have taken the prize

There they stand and reap away

Shepard fights through London’s streets

There’s a reaper that he has to defeat

He lures it to him and blows it away

The last race to the Citadel beam

Lasers fire and men scream

Shepard almost dies, but the ending is in sight

The Illusive man chooses suicide

Shepard confronts an insane AI

The galaxy’s fate Shepard has to decide.

The day they galaxy died

We start singing

Chorus

Do you believe in hope?

Is it something that helps you cope?

With the trials that life provides

And do you believe in your friends?

Who fight beside you until the end

Was that the message the game tried to send?

No you’re wrong came an almighty voice

Shepard has to make a choice

And if he doe’s not choose, he is guaranteed to lose

The choices remain Red green and blue

The authors explained them better for you.

And everyone dies if you refuse

The Day the galaxy died

Chorus

That was your final slice of Mass Effect Pie

Flew old Mandy through the galaxy Now the end was in sight

Got all the races fighting by my side

But today’s the day The galaxy died

Today’s the day we all die

That was your final slice of Mass Effect Pie

Flew old Mandy through the galaxy Now the end was in sight

Got all the races fighting by my side

But today’s the day The galaxy died

Today’s the day we all die

Ok here's one:

[Fill in Character name] You actually think you're *the* Commander Shepard? Oh, all this time I thought you were a clone. Hey guys look, it's the real Commander Shepard!

Shepard: You're mocking me, aren't you?

[FICN]: Oh no, no, no, no, - Commander, look a Reaper!

Shepard: Where?!

[FICN]: (Laughs hoarsely followed by knee slapping)

Guess where I got that one.
