Cool.  Now I can at least stop wondering about the skills and specializations... looks like we won't find out all of the details before release.

Guard could either mean defense (chance to dodge attack) or straight-up damage reduction. Immovable would give an increase to damage reduction per-hit so I'm guessing it's that.

I thought the consensus was that sustains were no longer a thing?

In other words, might be that there are sustained-ish abilities, just not called like that. If I read this right, by activating the ability the warrior blocks all damage from the front, adding it to his ''guard'' (which I assume is the metal bar we saw over the classes's health in demos) while draining stamina with each blow taken. Which to me sounds more interesting than ''press X to lose 20% of max stamina in exchange for passive bonuses''.

 

I like that the abilities they showed so far often have situational bonuses, such as bonus damage to X armor type or the like. Makes skills a bit more interesting that using them off cooldown every time.

They're a little different now. There are abilities which are a slow drain on your stamina or, like Shield Wall, cost you stamina absorbing attacks. But they're not a static cost/static portion of your stamina anymore.

The shield wall sounds really nice, I love being able to control when to block in games instead of just having a passive defence bonus. Now if I could only map it to the right mouse button it would have been ideal, but I don't think we'll be able to.

The warrior abilities look more interesting this time around I must say. Certainly they have been improved and evolved upon like the rogue trees. Can't say the same for the mages though.

I am not into fire. I prefer lightning and ice. I tend to pick the magics that I would use based on my personality. Lighting is focused energy, energy mastered. Ice is cold, harsh and rational. They suit me. Fire is all fiery, emotional, feelings, etc. I used to be fiery when I was a teenager but now nope. 

 

I mean its cool that we have 2 trees just for lightning and ice but what about the other people who wishes to play as a non elementalist mages ?

In the official E3 demo trailer (part 1), there are six active abilities of Weapon and Shield. In Gamescom there are five. And now we have four :(
