I wonder how many actually signed up when BioWare first announced this and did not get into the beta. Would be nice to see the choices before release just so I can make sure my world state is as it should be based on my choices in DAO and DA2.

If you've been lurking for a while or just recently doesn't really make a difference.  It's more or less a matter of luck.  Bioware staff is still handing some out from time to time and also others are giving them out randomly.  All you can really do is ask. 

 

On that note, if someone has a code to spare and feels a bit generous, please feel free to send one this way.

 

Grats to those fortunate enough to obtain one.  Good luck to those still trying.

 

Anyone have some solid info on how the beta testing is?  Fun?  Get to play long?  I've never tried a beta before. 

Can't really say much, but if you watched the Q&A you would have seen that there are some good feedback tools.

 

When did you redeem it? They say you can't get in until approximately two week days after you have redeemed it at the moment. I am in a similar position.

Don't worry you are in if you redeemed the code then followed the instructions. If it says 'Priority Beta Access confirmed! You now have access to the closed Beta...' when you sign in on the website you are in the priority list and just have to wait. (If you have access to the Lobby is a good way of checking).

If you think about it, the more codes that are given out, the easier it will be to get one, because every time somebody gives a code to somebody else, the person that just got the code then gets 5 new ones to give away themselves, so the more codes are handed out, the more codes there will be 'to' be handed out, there's never going to be a time when they run out, just the opposite .  Here's hoping today is the day for those of us who haven't gotten one yet!  #MakeMeAKeeper 

 

 

From what I've read, if you join the beta now, you're not supposed to get codes to give to family and friends. A few people have, but I'm assuming that's a bug :/ So it doesn't seem there's an endless cycle of codes.

Yeah, a few of us from F&F codes got codes of our own to share, but it wasnt meant to happen.

I have tried to get in ever since day 1 of putting in a paragraph at why I should get into beta.

My weekend is free to beta test the keep

Sorry to burst the bubble but the 5 more codes process is not an automatic one to new keep members - that idea was debunked a couple of days ago. But stay hopeful...

I've also signed for beta many month ago but wasn't picked then when they start giving away codes on tweeter I was fast enough and got a code when I redeemed it, it said for family and friend, but I still don't have access to keep. So even those code that were given on tweeter don't guarantee access.

 

That should have worked. What do you see when you try to log in on the DA Keep site?

Sigh, thought I was super speedy with that twitter contest and nope, someone else beat me everytime. And I also applied for the beta the day it was announced, and haven't heard anything.

 

I'm literally the unluckiest person I know when it comes to anything thats down to chance or winning contests or anything.
