A code giveaway?  That teaches me for taking a break from the forum for awhile.  lost hope for getting into the beta ages ago. 

 

Any word on a release date for the keep? 

 

They said a month before release, so expect a wait of another 25 days or so.

I guess I didn't sign up for the beta fast enough, even though it was the week of E3. Are these codes being supplied by people who were selected for the beta?

Seriously, I just want to know when the thing is going to launch.  And not, "A month before DA:I," I mean an actual date.

Wasnt dependent on sign up date. Codes are supplied to people who got in before the F&F codes were made available.

• August 28th 2013, and
• September 23rd 2014

Over 120,000 people applied.

I'm estimating that less than 5% of those are actually in the beta.

 

Keepers up to about 2 weeks ago were issued with 5 'Friends and Family' keys to spread involvement.

Those keys were shared in a range of ways including this pleading thread.

 

With some three weeks to go before launch, I think you have three options:

• Try the pleading thread and/or follow various Twitter feeds.
• Hope the 'Friends and Family' offer to current Keepers is repeated
• Be relaxed, public launch is only three weeks away.

5% is my guess, I don't have a list and if I did I doubt I would be able to confirm it 

 

Think of it like this. The BSN are pretty enthusiastic. The start of any beta testing process should involve a small number of people because even a small number of people would make many many suggestions and bug comments.

 

Every time you get new testers, you get more feedback and it makes no sense to make the quantity of feedback more than a small team of devs can handle. If the Keep was opened up to 120,000 people before it was tidy, shiny and ready for stress testing, you'd be asking for trouble.

 

The Keep beta is not 'Early access DLC'.
