Just out of curiosity around how many people still play co-op at any given day? Is there like a stat thing similar to that on steam where you can see how much people are online? I'm thinking about jumping back into me3 but im kinda wonder how the demographics are now. thanks

if you start a lobby you can wait 15 minutes for people to show up
if you start alone you may end up soloing the entire game
but if you search for a game hosted by someone else you usually end up in a game in progress pretty quickly
my guess is that everyone is tired of waiting and starts solo, which is why everyone is waiting. at any given time you have like 50 games all being hosted and played by one person

I am guessing 50,000 across all platforms and difficulties.

It's dumb and annoying, but it's their game.

"How many people play this game?"
Answer: well atleast over 32, because thats about the number of active posters on BSN.
In all seriousness though, I have no idea. I can tell you that I RARELY run into the same guy, or guys twice when joining random games after eachother. And I play regularily still, so theres a few.

Quite a few, and that's why I'm usually prepared to carry 3 PUGs on Gold.

I say quite a few in XBOX, I rarely bump on the same guys unless is UUP and the lobby sucks, then I only join that lobby....

i've reduced my friends' list to 18, out of which 2 or 3 come online regularly , and maybe 4 or 5 others sporadically.
I should flush the rest but they hold sentimental value. ![]()
So if that's the case for most other people also then maybe something like 20 % are still playing. BW sold over 1 million copies in the first year alone.
And they might still be selling as i frequently see low N7's in PUGs ( or they just got the game from someone else ).
Also if you play lots of PUGs, how often do you come across the same players ? In my case, it happens but not often.
Anyway, mine are all uneducated guesses .

I find a lobby in seconds, any difficulty, any time of the day. On PC in Europe that is. I'm an addict. Maybe DA:I(MP
) can drag me away from ME3MP.

Tough to say. For all we know, there could only be like 1000 human players with the rest being aliens playing from orbit.

The answer to the question that the OP should have asked is: enough to get you a game pretty quickly 24/7 regardless of timezone.
Also, you do know there are still people playing the original Rainbow Six Vegas online, right? people play games they like until the servers are shut down.
Also also, new games can be pushed out by old. According to Steam stats, more people play BlopsII online than Ghosts.

It's tough to really tell how many people still play. I still try to play at least a couple games a week, and when I do i seem to get a game at least somewhat quickly. Definitely takes longer then it used to though that's for sure.

That may be true for you, but when I start a lobby, I generally don't have time even to read two pages of a book before someone pops up.

42.
None - "It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination."

I'm officially done as of Saturday. I traded in my copies of ME3, 6 Xbox controllers (for some reason one button always wore out
), and about 41 other games for an Xbox One (and got Destiny for free PLUS 12 months of XBL for $20).
It was a great run, but I just needed something new. And the graphics differences on the two consoles (Xbox360 and Xbox One) were quite stark.
I hope ME4 will be as entertaining as ME3 was a great game (ending aside).
