I'm trying to decipher the inventory screen at the end. I can't tell from that whether Solas can actually equip some of those items, and if he can't, who can, or under what circumstances he might be able to.
It looks like the Equip button gets greyed out some of the time, but I can't tell why.

they weren't mage friendly, i doubt a mage would wear battlemaster armor or carta assassin armor

Bioware really has to be careful cause I really recall how many things got found out in ME2 just from trailer.

i suppose there's no definitive reason as to why they wouldn't wear it, but in DAI it seems armors will be class locked.. that would be the reason as to why the equip button greys out in the video.
EDIT: now that i think about it yeah, i'm taking it back and saying that you're probably right and that it'll mostly be dependent on stats but it does seem like some armors are class locked (the Superior Enchanter Mail is restricted to mage only for example, as shown in the video)

I hope they can fail. I hope there will be missions where it's possible to choose the wrong tactic, and send the wrong agent. I'm hoping that there will be missions where Politics simply won't work (for example), but you won't necessarily know that, so you'll still be able to send Scribbles in. And then she won't succeed.
I hope the Advisors and Agents don't always win.
thanks OP...im sitting here waiting for MP info 9 minutes in and nothing so I think this is a purely SP focused video for those that would like to know that information.

I'm assuming some gear is going to be blatantly designed for one class in mind and the requirements to use said piece of armor is going to require the main stat for that class at a certain level. For example, a piece of armor designed for a mage will probably have a requirement of say 20 intelligence. A warrior is not going to have that much intelligence normally and so won't be able to equip it.
Of course some items may just be class restricted as well.
It may be just me but anyone having trouble accessing Game Informer website? As in getting "internal server error" messages?
Looks good. Skyhold is going to be fun. It's interesting to see that I've yet to see anyone who has put their hands on this game say anything negative about it. After the massive disappointment in Destiny...I don't think I can handle another one of those this year. I know that DAI will lift my spirits.

You sure about that? The champion's mantles all seem to be restricted (even though only Hawke can wear them and only the appropriate one to Hawke's class spawns anyway). I'm pretty sure there were class restricted armors in DA2.
The thing is that they were talking about loosening that in the old thread about companion customization. But they didn't make any promises.

I agree. But I also hope that the advisers' and agents' with the best chances of success on major missions is affected by some major preceding plot choices. Therefore, Cullen will not always be the best adviser to send out on mission A in every playthrough depending on previous choices.
I'm still concerned about the lack of NPCs in an area, never seen Bioware actually create a living 3d world that has npcs with actual cycles of things to do.
Skyhold looooks amaaaaazing. That craft room especially.
