Well, it's a little too early to tell for me. Fortunately, Phil Collins has a song for that. After all, you can't hurry love

But since I love listening to 80s music in general, let's speculate!

 

I haven't really even decided on who I'm going to romance or with whom. But like my Rogue F!Hawke my Rogue F!Trevaylen (and possibly my F!Cadash) will probably be an Easy Lover (Phil Collins and Phillip Bailey). F!Trevaylen Warrior and Rogue (possibly mage) will also be Uptown Girls (Billy Joel). I'm thinking with Iron Bull or Blackwall, but really it works with any pairing that has a significant skew in background and income.

 

Inquisitor= King of Pain (Sting and the Police), it's their destiny after all.

 

Sera = Sara (Starship). (Yes, I had to.)

Iron Bull is a smooth operator   Depending on how tied to the Qun he is, I can see how thier Love is a Battlefield.

Cullen = Well, since I plan on romancing him with F!Trevaylen Mage or F!Lavellan First, everything she does is magic. (Hur, hur, hur, ) I have no idea if he's going to be Alistair levels of bashful, but who knows. As you all know one thing leads to another (The Fixx) as love changes (everything) (Climie Fisher). (Cullen has the most because I know him best.)

Blackwall = A dev mentioned getting ninjamanced on Twitter and so Hungry Like the Wolf by Duran Duran just sort of stuck. (May also be a pun on Grey Warden eating and drinking habits.) Aimo's Blackwall though. What a feeling (Irene Cara). (I'd rather not focus on his bittersweet death just yet.)

Josephine = Don't you forget about her, (Don't You by Simple Minds). I honestly don't know enough about her, but I intend to find out!

Cassandra = What can I say, she just drives me crazy (Fine Young Cannibals) or at least I can imagine she will for my liberal minded male PCs who will try to romance her. (Probably the same way my Hawkes drove Fenris crazy, to be honest.)

 

The two I haven't thought much about.

 

Solas = I dunno. F!Lavellan wants him to know Heaven is a place on earth. I like it because it's all about living in the world, but I enjoy the idea of them exploring both dreams and reality together. He helps her explore the Fade, she helps him explore... life.

Dorian = Er... It's his life! (Bon Jovi). This would work for Sera, I guess, but leaving Tevinter to pursue his own romantic interests takes a really rebellious spirit. I'm not sure if I'll romance him, since I play male characters very rarely and I'm really only planning to roll one for Cassandra but maybe...

 

Love Triangles = Jessie's Girl (Rick Springfield) I associate this one more with Fenris/Hawke/Anders, but it's multipurpose.

Wow! A lot of great choices so far. I tried to find one that wasn't mentioned and that would be appropriate to a romanceable companion/advisor. Growing up in the 80's, I picked:

This is no joke, a song created in 1985 that even names one of our advisors. Talk about perfect. If you read the lyrics, they can/do fit DAI somewhat. Or maybe it is wishful thinking on my part? (see bold)
