Kalros does most of the work.

If you mean the rush to the Hammers, with all the Brutes, that depends on what class you have.

You can try to run pass them. If it's the Reaper itself giving you trouble, be careful not to run into the shadow - it's the indicator.

The legs will start coming down BEFORE you reach the shadow so you can actually run toward it and then change trajectory or slow down and it will miss. As for the brute leave your squad mates behind and run straight past them to trigger the hammers, if you really want to fight them then fire explosions will do the job. You'll also notice two levels as you enter the arena where the brutes are you can drop to the first and play run and gun along it.

Always dodge to the right of a charging brute to avoid taking damage.

Fire and Biotic explosions will destroy Brutes fairly quickly. Piercing mods or AP ammo are a must. Killing them all is not too hard. Or you can just run on by them.

Honestly, I just try to run right past the brutes. I don't engage them unless absolutely necessary. Like another poster said, the shadow is there for a second before the claw steps down, when you see the shadow, simply stop, let the claw hit the ground and raise again, then proceed.

Hit one, avoid brutes, repeat for the other side. Don't worry, squad usually get massacred, but let em do so holding the brutes off.

Yeah you can bypass them.

Spawning is also funky there, so you don't know necessarily how many Brutes you will have to fight.  I think I tried to show an example of it in one of the Soldier vids I did.  Upper limit is around 11, I am not sure that they are ever infinite.

Spawning is a mess there. I once tried to play it safe and engage brutes from the beginning of that section, going back after every kill. They kept spawning indefinitely, 2 by 2. I think the key is to get a little further towards one of the hammers

A lot of times, I would just run past the uglies to get to the hammers. When you see a shadow in front of you, the reaper will stomp its foot, claw, paw, whatever on you if your close enough, so be aware of that.

Other times, I would just kill all the uglies for fun and just walk to the hammers

Yeah, I think you have to get into the central area for the spawns to stop. If you stay around where you jump down, everytime you enter the central area I think you will get a new spawn.
