No, not Tali. The possessor of the irrefutable evidence must live otherwise the galaxy was doomed. Saren would have been successful, and the reapers would have won.

The beacons each contain the warning about the reaper invasion. The beacons also contain an addition of the existence of Ilos sent out by Vigil after the reapers left in order to give any survivors "hope," even though Vigil said that the reapers were thorough and merciless.

I think some of her expressions were priceless. I'm getting geared up for a ME2 run. It will be bare bones with no DLC, because flying a car with a keyboard and mouse isn't my idea of fun.

The future shadow broker agrees. I suppose you can just use gibbed and set all the plot flags for the DLC later, if you don't want to miss out on the incredibly large impact they have on ME3, that is.

Hmm, proud of myself for getting through that with a straight face.

I'll tell you what, an extended arrival would have made a better plot than me2.
The collectors could have been working to activate it with the help of indoctrinated people, and the 'suicide mission', if yoi really wanted it, could have been to find it and disable it.

I think Leviathan and Arrival should have been combined together, and 'object rho' should have been a Leviathan artifact. Replace Kenson with anybody Bryson and have it all eventually lead to the crucible plans.

I like the idea that ME2 should have been unraveling the Batarian's plan to build a dark space Relay. The plot would basically be pursuing leads and uncovering their plans, accumulating in the Suicide Mission would be landing on an Arrival like asteroid to crash it into whatever the Batarians are building. Subplots would include the fallout from the Geth attack and Saren's genophage cure (which would be an actual cure and replace Mordin's and Maelon's back story with the genophage). There would be no Collectors and Cerberus would remain the organization they were in ME1.

Isn't Miranda at Cronos at the start of ME2? "The Reapers are still out there"

Why does she need a tracer to find it?

It's possible she doesn't actually know the location and it is all kept secret. Given Cerberus' obsession with keeping cells isolated from one another this doesn't seem unreasonable.

I seem to recall reading in one of the novels that the station is always moving and changing locations after it receives visitors. If this is the case its unlikely it is in the same place it was when Miranda first got on it anyway.  I also remember there being something in ME2 that mentioned the base constantly changing locations but I can't find anything in the wiki to support it so I'm probably remembering wrong.

Chronos is a  space station that can be moved at any time. Even if Miranda knew the location at that time, it would be somewhere else if someone were to check

ME1's plot actually didn't make much sense. People just ignore that because it was a good game and fun ride.

Saren loses his Spectre status attacking Eden Prime to gain access to a Prothean beacon he already possessed (Virmire), to find a Conduit he didn't need, to gain access to the Presidium he and his indoctrinated Asari commandos already had full access to.

In retrospect that has always made me wonder whether Saren originally wasn't a Spectre in early drafts of the script. Remove Saren's Spectre status before ME1 (or have him never be a Spectre) and his searching for the Conduit now makes sense.

I don't think this is the case. I seriously doubt the Space police would let Saren and his private army walk through to the citadel, up to the presidium. And even if they did, they can't handle the entirety of the Citadel's forces.

I recall Wrex and Ashley saying how well throughout the citadel tower was to defend itself from possible invasions.

Now this shouldn't work against armies and armies of Geth, krogan and a spectre. However a small group force? No way.

No, not Tali. The possessor of the irrefutable evidence must live otherwise the galaxy was doomed. Saren would have been successful, and the reapers would have won.

I still don't understand why people make a discussion over this. Its presented as an axiom that Geth hardware outputs cannot be replicated.

Its not like someone got Space Fruity Loops and made-up a conversation.

I guess TIM is just so fond of the view that he moves the station next to an identical star :D

It seems he moved to a red or blue star while the suicide mission was going on. But then he got homesick and moved back.

A question: codex says that 50 marines died on Akuze. With Shepard as the only survivor (codex assumes Toombs is dead) it ends up at 51. What is the corresponding unit name and officer of what rank usually leads it? My guess is that it's a platoon led by a Staff Lieutenant, is it correct?
