I thought the rumor mill said that the movie would be set after Doctor Strange becomes the Sorcerer Supreme to avoid the "horrid" this is how it all started thing?

My wish for next Avenger line- up:
Wolverine, Hulk, Iron Spider-man, Quiksilver & Black Widow

Given how Marvel and Fox are at each others throats right now. I don't think Wolverine will ever show up.

 

Spider-Man has a decent chance though.

Because Marvel is able to at least talk to Sony.

Apparently, Cumberbatch is in final negotiations to land the role.

 

Not what I was expecting, but I'll be interested to see his take on it if it does go through.

I think Cumberbatch definetly fits with Dr. Strange post mysticism. And I think he has the range to play unlikeable douche if they do an origin for him.

Agreed. He can hit the "arrogant, cold genius" angle of Steve-O's origin pretty easily. I mean... he IS British. That's their whole thing.
