I hope so, but only if it is someone I hate in the game so I can murder them.
I've been trying to murder knife Cullen for years now.

I think it would be cool even if no romance is involved if you continually side against one advisor if they get sniffy later on and start their advice with "you never listen to me anyway but"

My response. " Yes yes..whine whine whine. Now please be quite while I listen to my advisers..Go get drunk or something...perhaps you might have SOME value when your drunk."
wiggle wiggle? Cute Alexia.
I would favor diplomacy in first run, so Josie would be favored, but also, wont neglect Leliana and her spy network, which is two of the three primaries for me, Forces with Cullen would be used when cant do the first two. Brutish being the last option. My first play that is. Second one might go brutish, one of these many, many game plays will try to have just two people left in the Inquisition, and end the world, to see how it plays out.
Tell me I have the appropriate term
Tis what I had in mind lol

Hopefully.
I hope other companions complain if I take my LI with me everywhere too XD
Especially if I get a "I don't like you." in response to them.
I like companions talking about LIs whether appreciated or not. Questioning loyalty or favoritism could be a nice touch if done right and would be something I'd like to see. I also like jealous companions as long as it isn't overdone to the point it feels like everyone in the party has the hots for the PC.
@Ina, if its a female elf, majority will have the hots for her. ![]()
@Alexia, Yes, you have it right. ![]()

I'd like to see something like this as well. I don't plan to romance an advisor on my first character, but that Inquisitor will find espionage dishonorable and will almost never follow Leliana's plans. I'm hoping this is brought up at some point... the advisors supposedly have a lot of dialogue, so it's possible that they might react to our overall leadership style...
I don't think it'll be out of the question, Bioware did it on SWTOR as well; where the Trooper player character at some point gets to promote one of the squadmembers to a higher rank.
My Trooper picked his LI and got called on it by the other one (who was the more logical choice due to having more experience). ![]()

With good reason, Tiger.
Those elves... ![]()

I find it entertaining and fun when your party discusses your love life with you or amoungst themselves. I know IRL my friends would tease me endlessly about any guy I hooked up with and call me biased when I side with them so why shouldn't companions do the same? And if they don't care much about it, let that also be in banter, when others are gossiping let them just say they dont want to talk about it. And if you were romancing two at the same time and you picked one over the other, let them mad at each other for awhile or have a chat in which one wishes the other the best?
Bioware's had years to work on all this and I'd love to how much more alive and complex they made their characters, it'll just be the next step in creating better games.

I'm hoping for some noticeable changes in dialogue, too. I plan to run two Inq's at a time in parallel that go down opposite directions to see how the advisers' interaction changes. Some side quests might be open for people who favor one cause or another more, or one leadership style or another. There might be some dialogues that open up only if you made certain choices along the way.

You know this is an excellent idea, thanks! I think I might try it too if I can.
