I think it bothered him that it's less about the characters and their personalities than race.

 

On my end, I'm a big fan of Cassandra and Josephine seems quite fun.

ugh ANOTHER one? Oh well I'm a straight male but I also play as a lesbian female so I have 4 options so I don't see a problem unless you just play as a self insert of yourself which gets boring VERY fast trust me thats why I started playing as females it is a role playing game after all

Don't judge a book by its cover, how much do we really know about Cassandra and Josephine? They could be the most interesting romance options for all we know. Give them a chance they might just surprise you

To be fair, female Kossith are smokin hot.  Something about a tall grey-skinned woman with horns on her head that is just....tops.

The fact that all the ones we've seen in concept art/the comics are all practically naked doesn't hurt.

 

Add it to your wishlist for next game, and move on. Your ship has already left port.

 

Honestly, we know so little about the romances currently. Nobody can really make fair judgements based on who's boring, and who's not. And to make that judgement based on race is a little silly. A lot of people are upset that they can't romance current options, but most people have moved on by now.

i'll admit from what i hav seen thus far the options for a male inquisitor are kinda so-so. Maybe its just bc all we hav seen are pictures and haven't played the game yet; but to imho Cassandra just turns me off for some weird reason......Josephine is fine as h ell tho

I would have loved both a female qunari and dwarf romance! But even so, I'm happy with what we have now. At least we finally got something other than human or elf with Iron Bull. Maybe one day for the others.

You're, right OP. It's just you. This is the first thread about this! Its a unique and interesting perspective that I, for one, want to hear more about!

(Srsly tho I'm sorry you're disappointed, but I feel like this topic was a dead horse that got beaten into fertilizer that grew grass, then that grass was eaten by another horse which was beaten and that cycle repeated like five times and this is way too much brutality against horses NO MORE I AM UPSET ABOUT ROMANCES THREADS, SAVE THE PONIES)
