Yeah I disagree with this too, Dorian is classically handsome, very dapper.

Cullen is more classically handsome to me. Blond hair, blue eyes, athletic physique.

Dorian looks like a cross between a silent film mustache twirling villain and that creepy guy at a bar who asked you how old you are and if you're single lol

Well my opinion might not be the best, being a lez and all but I find Dorian more attractive than Cullen myself, he reminds me a lil bit of Laurence Olivier

LOL Well why not?! Arguing is fun Ohh the second boy is pretty cute! See I do like it when the facial hair all blends together. I definitely don't like the villainous pencil-thin mustache on Mr. Olivier. He definitely looks like Dorian, agreed. I'd love it if he looked like the second guy

 

I find Cullen to be incredibly vanilla-looking. Classically handsome makes me think of "old school" handsome, like Clark Gable as some have pointed out. Cullen looks more like frat-boy handsome. (He's attractive, don't get me wrong. But he's that status quo type of attractive that is both acceptable and forgettable.) The dudes on the *insert sports* team in high school who only dated cheerleaders - he has that (typecasted) look.

 

Ah yeah, good point. I probably just don't like "classically handsome"  Though I'll take "frat-boy handsome" over vanilla and forgettable (since those are 100% opinion). If I saw a guy who looked like Cullen I don't think I'd forget him too easily lol! But yeah, he's more of the Channing Tatum type. YUM!

I agree. Dorian is extremely handsome.  He reminds me of one of those actors from 30s and 40s.   Im looking forward to rolling a male Inquisitor to see what makes him tick.

Blackwall is a bit larger than I like, but other than that I've been in a state of semi-incoherence since E3.

 

Dorian looks like a movie star and his moustache gives him a dashing air. Best looking and great voice.

 

Cullen leaves me a bit cold. He's very handsome, but just looking at him does little. His voice is to die for.

 

Solas looks like a bat. But again, that voice...

 

Iron Bull repulses me.

I agree with this even though my tastes run pretty mainstream if we're talking only physical attraction. And Cullen is the usual pretty boy kinda guy you can find everywhere in media. It would take me a bit more to find the other companions physically attractive if at all I ever will.

 

But it matters little to me personally though since I don't feel the need to be attracted to the companions I romance, though I understand how this could be an issue for some. Usually if they have nice personalities and a good story I'm good to go!

The effect is mostly due to where the shades set your eyeline.

Also, the model is looking in specific places in each shot to evoke a different feel.
For example, creepy moustache man is staring straight at you, the others aren't.

Must be just me but I really don't see the attraction of Iron bull and Blackwall.

 

If they didn't add Cullen and Solas in the delay I think I would cry if I found out I was stuck with those two

 

They're both big and muscular but IB has a face only a mother would love and Blackwalls beard is just too bushy Santa beard for me. If it was a short beard like in the pic above it would be better looking imo.

 

As characters I think they look great, I just don't want to romance them. And hey it's a game and games are for fun, so I can be shallow and want my romances to be good looking

As a male, I am of the opinion that the mustache is the coolest facial hair.  I tried growing a Hulk Hogan 'stache when I was in high school, but people told me that I looked "old" (combined with my long hair, it did make me look like a '70s rock star), so I eventually shaved it off.  I'm definitely growing it back when I get in my 40s, though.
