Ugh....I still want to climb the wall...so much. :crying:

You still can.  Just do it with a dwarf lass.  I know it's not the same, but it will still be pretty damned bad-ass, right?

There's a lot of demand for either an M/M Knight in Shinning Armour (which Cullen approaches), or someone who looks like a man's man (which is definitely the lumberjack-esque Blackwall).

I still want my gay white knight. :(

Nah, it's just a personal preference, but it's very hard for me to play as a female. Never feels right.

One of these days, we'll finally get him.  I'm sure of it.

Here was my impression before orientation reveals.

Way more interest from women than men for Cass.
About even for Sera, maybe slightly more men.
Mostly women for Cullen, with a few prominent posters hopimg for m/m.
Mostly men for Dorian. Or should I say DHMG?
Solas was passed around like a hot potato. Everybody was sure he was a LI but nobody wanted him to be one of their options.
About even for IB and Josephine.
Not many people expecting Blackwall, but about even among those who wanted him.

Oh god, this one is spot on. A lot of people wanted him to be for the other group and not have him take one of the options.

I sympathize from the other end. I'd like Cass and Dorian, nut I don't like the male voices.

Soon.  I'm sure, right?  Maybe ME4?  A badass, white-knight space marine who is totally into dudes?  It could happen, right?

Ah, DHMG.  I forgot about that!  Boy, we pegged him for being gay right off the bat, huh?

That's much better. Incredible how short hair kills a woman's sex appeal.

Luckily women have other matters to think of than their sex appeal.

Ironically, after losing Cullen and anticipating the loss of Blackwall, I worked hard to console myself with the thought of romancing Solas. Really worked up a liking for the guy and even could see my inquisitor falling in love with him. Then BOOM! straight

BOOM! straight!, BOOM! straight!, BOOM! straight ... it just kept happening!!!  :crying:

He had better be a companion. None of this shuttle pilot only crap.

Damn, we were good weren't we. I guess our inner gaydar just picked it up immediately? I honestly didn't even think twice about it. Never thought he'd be bi, only thought he'd be gay.

That's kind of what I meant about a stereotype...? I mean... we all just knew he would be the m/m option. He has "that look." Which is why I was kind of disappointed he was revealed to be gay... I prefer to buck stereotypes. Make the Freddie Mercury look alike straight (I know, I know, he was bi), and make, say, cutie pie Sera lesbian (which they did, so yay!)

Well, I prefer short hair on women.  ^_^  I think whether or not it kills sex appeal is entirely subjective. We all have different tastes.

And this. Especially because Cass is the type of person to just laugh and not care. xD

I don't even know if it was even necessarily a stereotype that he portrayed. He's tan, has a mustache, is a mage from Tevinter, witty and arrogant...I'm still not sure how that necessarily equates to gay.

She probably laughs at her enemies as she disembowels them.

I'm still a bit torn up about Dorian, probably because I had a huge crush on DAA Anders. Of course, a lot of my consternation at the time came from thinking I was going to have to run f/f again. Having Blackwall helped a lot.

I would love this.  It's super unlikely, I know.  But I would LOVE this.

That didn't bother me so much because it just felt like a silly stereotype to me.  I mean, maybe it's because I live in NYC, but when I see a guy with facial hair like Dorian, I don't immediately think gay.  I immediately think hipster.  Could be gay, but not necessarily.  Maybe that's because of where I live though.

It's just the mustachioed look lol I mean because we're just talking about his look here... when we all sort of guessed he'd be gay before we knew anything about him.

I actually was thinking Blackwall had a great chance of being gay because he has that bear/bara look, too.

Probably, not too many hipsters where I live  However I did see a guy jogging with a full Santa Clause-style beard, and this guy was like 23. I didn't even want to think about what that beard smelled like b/c it was approximately 90 degrees at the time.

I see your point, but I don't think that a pansexual Iron Bull fits into any stereotype... at least not one that I'm familiar with (physically, I mean).  So they did think outside the box with a few companions...
