A lot of people are still very disappointed and it sort of gives them a place to express that (so long as you're not rude).

I was kind of avoiding doing this, but why not... I actually am disappointed that Vivienne isn't an LI.  It's not a huge problem but still... that does kind of suck.

 

edit:  I'm also disappointed in my typos...   They also suck.

The options include Cassandra, Josephine and Sera. About as far removed from "disappointing" as one could possibly get.

 

So no, this completely optional part of the game is not a disappointment.

If it were up to me, my options would be: Blackwall, Cassandra, Josephine, and Vivienne.

 

I really wanted: Cullen, Blackwall, and later, Solas, and also Sera b/c I always like to do one female playthrough. So, I got Sera, yay? 

 

I still haven't decided what I'll do for my first playthrough. Leaning towards romancing no one? Sigh.

I think I have accepted the current gatings pretty well so I'm no longer devastated about them. I'd like still my fem!qunari have someone from: Solas, Varric, Cassandra, Dorian and Cullen. Somehow fem!qunaris have all options I don't care about other than Iron Bull but I don't want to romance Iron Bull with qunari.

No, it's not. A step up would be writing better lesbian characters. Not writing more lesbian characters to sleep with you.

I wont say this about couple games but do agree. The way they handled lesbians on tv was horrible. I know I wont watch those 2 shows now cause of it, and was tempted to. Regardless if the writers apologized for that mess.

My only disappointment is that my straight male dalish elf's only romance option is despicable Shem.  Hmm...that could be interesting role reversal...

I've already decided that if the game doesn't let me gut anyone who calls me that it will be a waste of time, and trying to find my dagger in the middle of things would prove...awkward.
