Wow the romance options for this game are kinda disappointing

UNINTERESSTING? You really want to say that cassandra is uninteressting?
Some guys don't like her. Dunno if you noticed that.
I don't think she's uninteresting. I just think I don't want to romance her.

So play as a female qunari and romance someone with her. When you get to the kissy kissy scenes you can just pretend you are the other character.

I think it goes that you can romance any of 4 races and either gender, provided you're the one to do the romancing. In other words: It's not that they're not providing LI options, it's that the inqisitor is going to have to be the focus of attention. I want to romance a female dwarf. Poof! I can, indeed be the Sigrun I always meant her to be. This is not a bad thing.

That's your opinion , don't find any of the LI's interesting? just don't do any romances this time around.
Personally i like both Josephine and Cassandra and find them interesting. just my 2c

Geez another one of these?
It's not like there is a bunch of variety on this forum anyways. If it isn't a thread bashing the romance, it's a thread praising the romance. Both are equally annoying.
I do agree a bit with the female Qunari, I think if they made Iron Bull female, the romance would look better. Male Qunari are more like animals, not men. That type of romance doesn't flow around these parts. Female Qunari aren't really much better, but they are smaller, so it doesn't look as bad.

I'd say that romance option for the women are disapointing after race-gates. Why my qunari ladies just have two very masculine muscular mans? I wanted them to have bf's who are smaller than them ![]()

My husbot used to joke when he was romancing Kaidan, he was being the ultimate wingman for his buddy, hooking him up with Shepard.
That was back in ME1 days... He still plays all kinds of characters, female and not. Anyway. It worked for him. And honestly, that's a pretty good suggestion. Play a cute female qunari and romance your best bro if that's comfortable for you.
Personally, while I do shake my fists occasionally at ELF WOMEN, I'm pretty happy with the four choices for everyone who isn't playing a female elf or human woman.

So? I didn't like any of the romances in DAII.
Thus my Hawke is single.

Play as a fem qunari and spend a lot of time staring at her ass, problem solved.
Good advice tbh

That's more or less what I do every time I play a female character in a third person game.
Suffice to say, I missed a lot of shots in Tomb Raider.

I didn't like any of the romanceable males in ME2, but I didn't raise a big fuss over it- my characters were single.

I agree, the romances for the companions are so disappointing! For one they only get a single choice: the inquisitor, and that person's race, gender, age, personality, and sexual orientation are a complete crapshoot. Plus, most inquisitors will probably end up looking like Quasimodo due to poor CC skills of most players and the companions still have to go along with it
I can definitely see why the companions would be so disappointed in their romance!

I was responding to someone who was incredulous that anyone could not like Cassandra. I was stating that I, too, was not thrilled with her as the straight male option. I then facetiously made reference to the dozens of other threads started by people who also are not thrilled.
I very well know I can choose not to romance anyone. That does not make it less disappointing.

Strange how these threads are always made by straight males isn't it ? This exact same topic has been made at least a dozen times, it's time to stop beating the dead horse and just move on. If you're so disappointed just don't buy the game.

If it's not too much trouble OP, I'd love to borrow your early copy of DA:I when you're done.
