[Geth Supremacy]

This is just a question I am wondering about, it's NOT only random people, but people you "know" that you see all the time posting or something like that.  Do you care if they disagree with you or your choices?  Do you get offended by their opinions to the point you are hurt or angry or is it nothing to you and you just ignore it and move on....just "internet stuff".

 

I've seen a lot of back and forth and a lot of heated discussion in my time here over more than 1 issue and i'm just wondering if its just people trolling and messing around or if they are genuinely effected and bothered by what people say on here.

 

This will be my first attempt at a poll on this site so I don't know how it will go, but if there is an anonymous option it will be enabled.

Enough years spent on here has built up a thicker skin, so I'm drastically less offended by comments than when first arriving to BSN. But yeah, on a blue moon, I get offended by nasty comments or that sort of thing. Much less by strangers, more so by friends.

Well, I'd care to respond to it. o.O If they've got legit information supporting the point and are pretty well-mannered about it, why would I be offended? If everyone agreed with each other, it'd be pretty boring in here.

I don't always get offended, but when I do, it's because the mortal felt offended by what I said.

I personally don't get offended, but if I see someone who doesn't deserve it getting attacked(little too strong of a word, but eh), I'll stand up for them.

It really depends on what the offensive thing is. If it's something that I care about, I might get offended. Otherwise, I might not. Can't really say for sure.

I spent about a year as a game master for a major MMO, so it's kinda hard to take any kind of online anger or misbehavior seriously.

 

I could care less what people think about things that are truly opinions.  When things are facts and a person is obviously misinformed, I'll try to correct them.  If they're obstinate or rude about it, then they're just a fool.  Hard to be upset over meaningless opinions and powerless idiots.

I really couldn't care less if someone has a different opinion than I do. It's not worth the time of day to be bothered over something you have no influence over, all it does in the end is bring you down.
