Bethany/Carver : Since we saw Hawke in a trailer, I want to see her/his sibling too.

 

Isabela and Sten would be interesting, especially in the same story.

I'm pretty sure they will be back

 

Merrill too. I think her researchs on the eluvian could be interesting

 

My Warden but only if he followed Morrigan through the eluvian

If not, her/his story is over for me

 

Fenris, don't care

 

Anders, should be dead, even if you don't execute him

 

Sigrun nice character but no

 

Nathaniel, don't care too

 

Sebastian, could be interesting if he took back starkhaven. If not, no.

 

Oghren I like him but no, his story is over too

Anora, actually. I hope to be able to find out what she's been up to since DA:O, how Ferelden is doing and whether she knows anything about what my Warden, her husband in the world state I intend to import, is up to.

I'd really like to see Anora again (and Loghain). I was pretty disappointed that they didn't turn up on either of the occasions that King Alistair or Warden Alistair can. One of my Wardens married her too, so that's an added incentive.

 

If the Wardens have a strong presence, then Nathaniel, Sigrun or Velanna would be interesting (especially Velanna with the elven plot).

 

Carver/Bethany, though I doubt that will happen.

 

Isabela, simply because she's one of my favourites, and Zevran and Merrill are a no-shows.

While I certainly don't know who might return, I often hesitate to kill a character because I don't want to miss anything if they appear in future content.

 

A second playthrough allows me to take care of anyone that annoys me.

I'm curious to see if Alistair's been hitting the gym since his visit to Kirkwall, or if he took another step down the Robert Baratheon path of kingly indulgence.

Ah, speculation is such a fickle pastime.

 

Rather than posit which old favorites "might" by some stretch of the imagination appear during Inquisition, I will limit my response to only those who've been officially confirmed to be featured in the game.

 

I AM very much looking forward to seeing Morrigan, Alistair, Anora, and Flemeth once again!

Heck I am looking forward to meet this cast of what looks like very awesome companions within the Inquisition itself.  Almost all of them sounds awesome in some way or at least has my curiosity piqued...well ok maybe not all of them.

If you pay attention to the trailer, you see cassandra assaulting a grey warden stronhold. Probably corypheus controlling them. makes you think about what happens if carver/bethany become a grey warden and what happens if you let anders live, doesn't it?

Same goes for Merrill. I think I remember it being said during that raptr session that she wouldn't show up, but my memory could be failing.

After DA2... I don't want to see Alistair again.

I definitely don't want to see Leliana, as much as I liked her, when I killed her on one particularly nasty playthrough, she should have stayed dead. She's dead to me.

I wouldn't mind seeing Zev as a recurring gag where he hits on the player in front of their LI.

Other than that, Morrigan and my Warden always parted on good terms. I can't wait to see her again!

I am looking forward to seeing them all honestly, but some more than others. for example:

 

 

So who are you looking forward to see in inquisition the most ?

 

-Hawke(Obvious)

-Grey Warden(Obvious)

-Alistair(I always make Alistair King and for my first playthrough of Inquisition my Warden is going to be Queen to Alistair's King, and I hardened Alistair to make him a better King. I want to know how he is handling everything especially after my Warden disappeared)

-Morrigan(Obvious reasons are obvious)

-Leliana(She's hard, she's smart, and she's a super spy. I can't wait to see her in Inquisition)

-Sebastian(Only because I always approve of Anders' actions and Sebastian vows he'll come back with his army)

-Merrill(What happened with the Eluvian if you helped her fix it!)

-Aveline(She is hardcore and strong, not to mention Hawke's best friend so I would definitely like to know what happened to her and Donnic lol)

-Fenris(My Hawke romances him always-so I definitely wanna know what happened to him especially since Hawke is definitely showing up)

-Anders(Obvious reasons are obvious-the man blew up and killed a Chantry full of people how does this effect the world and him)

-Bethany-(I played Hawke as a Rogue, even though I always play as a Mage, just so I wouldn't have to listen to Carver's whining. Bethany was much more cool and prettier too)

-Sten(Pretty sure he will be the Arishok if you kill the Arishok in DA2 and I always defeat him in one on one combat so I definitely want to see him in there to see how your Warden effected this very important outcome-it reminds me of Wrex and Virmire-Wrex becomes the leader of the Krogan if he lives through Virmire and that makes your relationship easier to deal with the Krogan in ME2, and I think this same dynamic is going to happen with Sten as the Arishok)

-Wynne(With this whole Mage vs. Templar fight hitting its apex you know Wynne will have to have something to say, if she hasn't died from her 'illness' yet if not I could totally see her being an advisor or something to the Inquisitor representing Mages)

-Shale(She was so much fun and so sweet once you got to know her. She was so brave to become what she became to protect her home and then to realize that she might want to be human again is amazing.)

-Ogrhen(I feel like he is Varric's perverted, drunk uncle or something. He always has some of the best dialogue and he's a Grey Warden after Awakening, I would be very shocked if he didn't show up)

-Zevran(Another super spy and Assassin, definitely would like to see him but I feel like he won't show up because his voice actor is playing another person in the game, so I think we will hear about him but only from someone else, he won't show up in person)

-Sigurn, Nathaniel, and Valeanna are secondary for me but would still like to know what happened to them.

Morrigan! I don't know why, but I have a gut feeling that she is going to end up being the Big Bad for this game... And even if that doesn't come to be, it's exciting to see where her arc is headed. 

 

And I'd also love to see any and all of the DA2 characters... Fenris, Merrill, isabela, and Aveline in particular. While I feel like we generally know what's up with the DA:O people, their story lines could be going in any number of directions.

I admit I'd like if Zevran became the Crows' leader, even if not in all playthroughs.

And no, I wasn't that keen on the decision they take with Leliana. But I cut Zevran's and Loghain's heads and yet they are still alive and well, so I got over it.
