In a perfect world tailored to me, the crew from Awakening, the Hawke sibling, and Aveline would top my list of "I WANNA SEE!"
Also Sebastian because I'm curious what that crazy kid is up to.

Par Vollen, Seheron, Sten from DAO, Multiplayer.
I kind of want to see what Sophia Dryden is up to. Assuming one didn't do Terror on the Coast in DA2, I mean. I really want to see how far Bioware is willing to take the whole "there will be almost a third of the game people won't have access to based on their choices" thing.
Honestly, though, I'll be content with just seeing Anora and Morrigan again. But a hint at what Sebastian is up to would be welcome.
ok, people I'd like to see...
5 people I'd like to see that I think are pretty much confirmed or that are a good chance are:
Dagna, Sandal, Loghain (who is in Orlais if not killed), Teagan (who we know visits Orlais) and Bella (who I had inherit the Redcliffe tavern).

Others I'd like to see where I think there is a moderate chance that they will appear are:
Tallis, Dulci de Launcet (always good value), the Architect (if alive), Bethany (if alive) and Marjolaine (also if alive).
Fairly unlikely to re-appear (though I'm curious to know how it worked out) are:
Sigrun, Feynriel (maybe in Tevinter), Amalia, Keeper Lanaya and Cauthrien.
BioWare have said there will only be plot reasons why people reappear,
it will not simply be to wave hello...
Outhouses and Latrines for realism

Morrigan.
Loghain, Evangeline and Rhys, Dagna, Cauthrien (if at all possible, she was awesome). Flemeth, Morrigan. Any of the Awakening companions not named Oghren.
Alistair (& Anora)
Morrigan
Flemeth
Varric
Leliana
Sten
Cullen
Cassandra
Hawke
Tallis
Yeah I think Tallis will be back
Zevran. Oh, wait, he's not going to be in this game.

I guess I'll just have to roll a male elf inquisitor using the American voice and bawl my eyes out while I play through the game... ![]()
Seriously though, I'll be happy to see whomever BioWare decides to put in the game.
Hope you will see out warden ![]()

Dulci. Dulci? Dulci!
I just realized - I want her to appear too! I want her to be my interior designer. "Oh, but the Fade is so filthy!"
Inquisitor: And I have been thinking of placing some ceramic cows in--
Dulci: *faints*
Varric: Some things never change...
Yeah...I'm a sucker for cameos, and I would love a few missions that revolve around older characters.
Shale, Oghren, and adorable little Alistair.
Dagna, Hawke, Bethany, Varric, Cassandra, Sten, Morrigan, Flemeth, The Grey Wardens, Alistair, Leliana, Cole, Sandal, Architect, Corypheus, and Isabella.
The inclusion of a dead man is even more disturbing. He dies in everyplaythru.
Loghain Mac Tyr was a Secret Companion in Origins (much like Legion in ME2). To get him, You lose Alistair (AND he can't fight him in Landsmeet).
No he doesn't? Unless you mean all of your playthroughs -- in most of mine he survives and has a cameo in Awakenings. As for losing Alistair -- honestly, the Landsmeet is when I really soured on him in the first place. I'd spent the entire game hating Loghain, but Alistair's reaction to even the possibility of not executing him made me realize that losing him as a companion wasn't much of a loss.
That being said, I am looking forward to seeing Alistair again the most out of all the DAO companions -- depending on my various world states, he's a king or a Warden or a reformed drunkard, and I'd love to see what he's been up to. Shale and Zevran would be wonderful to see, but as has been mentioned, apparently it's not happening. Leliana and Morrigan we're guaranteed a cameo (yay to both, love those guys, they were almost always in my party no matter where I went), and Wynne has (at least in the books) died, which leaves Oghren and Sten and Dog (who likewise has probably shuffled off this mortal coil). I'd love to see both those dudes, esp. since I made Oghren a Grey Warden; be cool to see how he's dealing with that ****. I'd like to see Loghain, too, but given his age and after ten years as a Warden I'd be really surprised if he were still alive anyway.
For Awakenings -- all of them, but especially Sigrun, whom I adored.
For DA2, definitely glad Varric is back as a companion so I can pester him the way I did in that game. Hoping against hope that we meet up with Isabela -- in every playthrough, no matter what my other choices, I always romanced her because I just loved her to pieces. Aveline would be awesome to see, because she was such a great character, but she's so entrenched in Kirkwall that I very much doubt we'll meet her (unless some of DAMP takes place in other countries/city-states, aka Kirkwall? I dunno). I disliked Fenris so much that after my first playthrough I never recruited him again, so I'd be okay if he didn't make an appearance. Merrill I would love to see again, even though I think it'll be very bittersweet - I always helped with her eluvian, and I have a feeling that's going to bite me on the ass. Anders/Justice I'd like to see just to find out what's going on with him, even though I still consider him a primary villain of DA2. Bethany/Carver I'd very much love to see again; I never got along with Carver, obviously, but I thought both of them were pretty great. Sebastian I have mixed feelings about - like with Alistair, his bizarre single-minded demand for vengeance which went against all the principles of his faith (first with the bounty he put on the mercenary group that carried out the execution for his family, and which he never showed much remorse about despite the fact that it was a demon-influenced noble who'd ordered the hit, then insisting that Anders be killed immediately) really put me off him. However, he's a really complicated guy and if he went back to Starkhaven to take over as prince, it could make for some really interesting political shenanigans.
TL;DR - I have a lot of feelings and all of them are ridiculous.
Wynne is dead now, and Shale is still a golem.
But Mike has already confirmed that Shale is not in Inquisition.
Maybe she could show up in later DLC, but she's not in the main game.
That's possible she might make a cameo but she will NOT be a companion again as they have said there will NOT be any new companions in DLC, as doing so requires them to put some base files in the core game to leave an open slot for them, and after the backlash with ME2 "OMG Kasumi is in the game, but locked" because hackers found those base files and modded her in (could only be used in the suicide mission, she didn't look the same, and her voice files were missing), then the same thing again with Javik in ME3, and then Sebastian in DA2, all were the same way. SO, they've said there will be no DLC characters. Which is sad, because those of us who understand that basic files in anticipation of future DLC isn't meaning you're paying for something you already have, the "EA is the worst company in the world" crowd is too vocal, so our DLC characters get the boot.

im looking forward to seeing Hawke and my warden if possible and Alistair hope Zevvey will turn up again we can't have a good time with out him
