Ok, so I've completed ME and I am considering starting the NG+. If I do so, and run that character to completion - when I come to character import in ME2 will I be able to import two characters (i.e the completed vanilla game, and the completed NG+ game) or only one single character, which I would assume would be the NG+ char?
Clarification from a reliable source would be greatly appreciated

you can import both
since the vannilla one will be the first +NG char! Then if u ran that char also to completion again the game would have another +NG save with that char just will all the decisions/ items/minerals you made in the second playthrough.
