I did and made my Mage run canonical.
Soooo who's replaying DAO + DA2 in anticipation of DAI?

I literally just finished my final DA playthrough.
Imported my Sarcastic Dwarven Noble (who romanced Alistair and put him on the throne, did the dark ritual) and followed with Aggressive femHawke who romanced Isabela (although I cut it off after act 2 and tried romancing Sebastian...)sided with Patrice and the Templars

Replaying DAO a lot, since there seem to have been more global issues covered in that game. I do want to replay DA2, with 2 characters, to experience a hopefully fresh take on Hawke. I also want to brush up on combat without mods and other goodies that make combat easy. I can't believe how many times I'm dying when I take the mods and console commands away. I just had a full party wipe on the friggin Thy Brother's Killer side quest. Embarrassing to say the least. I hope archer is a viable class in DAI. Maybe I'll finally be able to warm up to s&b too, Stranger things have been known to stalk the universe.

Yup, I did a full runthrough of Origins, Awakening Golems of Amgarrak, Witch Hunt & DA2 (as well as Darkspawn chronicles + Leliana's song) using a female elf mage who was a kind and lovely blood mage who was secretly obsessed with arcane secrets and making deals with demons
made Hawke similar but more snarky.
Now doing another playthrough of DA2 importing a really old DA:O female Dalish Warden save that I never continued because they did the ultimate sacrifice (decided to skip the DLC because it feels odd playing zombie Warden)

*Raise Hand*
I'm currently replaying through DA:O at the Circle Tower before entering the Fade...ugh I hate that part.
Download "Skip the Fade" from Nexus. Makes it more bearable.

Currently got two DA2 games in progress to explore slightly differing plot routes. It's going pretty well.

I am also running a new play through of DAO. Started with a city elf. Got her to Orzamar and my heart melted at the sight of dwarves. So I started over with a dwarf Cadash. So much fun having everyone call you brand only to have them grudgingly accept you because you are a warden. Since we have The Keep I am role playing more and having a great time. I'm picking choices and responses that suit my character rather than those that suit a specific outcome. What fun! I think I may have to do the ultimate sacrifice. Alistair really hates Morrigan and I don't know if I can make him do the ritual. Plus, that choice would suit my little dwarf's personality, always making the choices that make the lives of those around her better and willing to take the hit for those choices. Its why the Dragon Age series is so compelling. You really develop your own type of hero or anti-hero.

Yes, obsessively so. I decided to do a DA2 playthrough with an ultimately pro-circle, pro-templar female mage Hawke just for fun last week and ended up loving it so much I now consider it my canon. I'm planning to do the same with DAO, except with a ruthless, pro-blood magic warden. I'd like to have an all-mage Warden/Champion/Inquisitor world state for my first DAI playthrough. It'll be interesting to see the impact of their differing views on magic.
Also planning on doing something similar for rogue and warrior, though I'll probably mix and match those between the two games. It's fun creating new wardens and Hawkes with the future of Thedas and the Inquisitor in mind, though it can get a bit tedious doing the same quests over and over.

Finished up a refresher playthrough of DAO a month or so ago same for DA2. At the mo I'm playing DA2 dlcs that I hadn't got around to playing, just to be aware of choices I need to make for those also.

DA:O and it's DLC goodness will never escape my mind as I well never not love DA:O. DA2 DLC however has not been fully completed so I'm trying to will myself to play more of it but I haven't been able to because I'm too excited for DA:I and thus have resorted to doing readings on it and seeing what people have posted in regards to anything I've missed. There's still time so I might snap out of it and give DA2's DLC another whirl.
All in all, ready for DA:I and the Keep ![]()

I put off the DLC for as long as I can in DA:II because it's actually a bit better than base DA:II and if I play that then I will likely lose interest and not finish. with the DLC still waiting at least the anticipation keeps me going slowly.

Sure am, the countdown to launch has me desperately trying to finish off my crazy playthroughs that never got past Ostagar (e.g. Alistair romance that ends with him getting betrayed and executed at the Landsmeet). I can't wait to see his reaction.

I played DA2 only that one time ... right after it was released ... so ... of course, I carelessly forgot some part of the plot. Now I'm replaying it. Slowly. (And there are the DLCs now!)
As for DAO ... I played it sometime this year ... for the 1000000...-th time I think, so it's not necessary for me to replay it again ![]()

Finished origins and its dlc with a human noble male (my profile picture) who romanced Morrigan, put Alistair with Anora on the throne, executed Loghain, did the ritual etc.
Currently playing DA2 with female rogue Hawke who romances Isabela and will side with the mages.

OP you say that like I have stopped playing. I pretty much bounce back and forth between ME and DA. Occasionally sprinkle in something new like Deus Ex or Skyrim, end up disappointed or bored (though the Uncharted franchise was quite fun,) and return to the one company that seems to get it (or me anyways.)

Picked up and replayed Origins/DA2 over the summer twice after years-long hiatus. (And thanks to this thread, makes me want to play it again).
I want to start at least 1-2 more just to keep my mind fresh (and because let's face it, the series is pretty darn good in comparison to other rpgs). Yet to do a Male Elven Mage or Male Dalish playthrough (did all other gender/race/origin combinations) and torn which one I want to do first.

I just went through third DA2 replay, and only game so far where Hawke sided with Templars (which was interesting considering that it was based on my Surana-world state). That makes 3 complete world states to "import" to DAI ![]()
Now if I manage to complete Mahariel-based DA:Awakening and DA2 game based on that before November, I would be most happy ![]()

I just restarted origins, not sure if I will replay II, might not have enough time. Especially if I take time to do every single quest and side quest in DAO.

I haven't replayed any of them yet, but the temptation to reload DAO is excruciating............
*sigh* I gave in. Currently reloading DAO. I simply can't stand waiting for a DA fix for another month and a half.....
