I'm planning a female human inquisitor, I find it easier to relate with the character if I make her look like me haha, the class I haven't decided yet as I'd like to know more about the changes they make in Inquisition, if any, if not then maybe a rogue. My Inquisitor will be fun and will flirt with everyone but won't get down with anyone because she secretly likes Varric (cries) hahaha. That's all I got for now. Maybe when I can access the Keep I'll make her story more deep haha

I really love threads like this. It's so interesting to see what characters people come up with and what romance combinations they plan to play. Plus no arguments, hate or debates that fill up other threads...just some fun sharing of character ideas. :)

Status:- Canon.

Name:- Tishen Lavellan.

Sex:- Male.

Race:- Elf.

Age Range:- 25-27 years old.

Class:- Mage.

Class Specialization:- Necromancer.

Sexual Orientation:- Heterosexual.

Personality:- INTJ, Chaotic Neutral and Sarcastically Humorous. Likes to read, explore places for knowledge & information and do research. He is on par with Aveline when it comes to romance and romantic relationships.

Love Interest:- Josephine Montilyet.

Romance Arc:- Starts off very awkwardly, develops into a serious, committed and loving relationship. Hopefully filled with dinner dates, long walks around Skyhold and a lot of verbal debates on the things.

Quote That Fits Him:- “Beware the irrational, however seductive. Shun the 'transcendent' and all who invite you to subordinate or annihilate yourself. Distrust compassion; prefer dignity for yourself and others. Don't be afraid to be thought arrogant or selfish. Picture all experts as if they were mammals. Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity. Seek out argument and disputation for their own sake; the grave will supply plenty of time for silence. Suspect your own motives, and all excuses. Do not live for others any more than you would expect others to live for you.” (borrowed from the late Christopher Hitchens).

To Put It Simply:- He is a younger Solas with hair and he is into intelligent women.

Just finished this whole canon character fleshing the other day. Currently in the process of making other characters and fleshing them out.  :D

Thus far only Bull and Blackwall managed to get my attention as potential Inquisi's LIs.

  • For Bull I have prepared an elven guy - rogue (doomy joker/clown - laugh-through-tears kinda guy ... maybe it will go good - plot-wise - with all this Bull-PTSD problem ... or maybe not ... and I'll end up with my first Iquisi mental and romancing Schmooples).
  • For Blackwall I have a goody-goody, very young, naive, hopefully cute human mage. I also plan on playing tough m!Qunquisi (no romances).

Not in order:

F!Adaar - Josephine

F!Cadash - Sera

M!Lavellan - The Iron Bull

M!Trevelyan - Dorian

It could change once I get to know the characters of course, but I'm thinking something like that.

I want to do F!Elf - Iron Bull, because I have a fetish or something. That's my second run, though.

First run is probably gonna be M!Qunari rogue with Dorian or Cassandra.

1st playthrough, male qunari templar

2nd playthrough, male elven necromancer

as for romances, Honestly i don't know. We haven't really gotten to know these characters apart from a few screenshots and gameplay footage, so its hard to make a decision when I know close to nothing about the characters

Woo! First post ever after lurking for...a long time.

My planned inquisitors in order are:

Invictus Trevelyan: A male human mage. Your average, decent guy. Often serious and stern but occasionally enjoys cracking jokes with friends. He's idealistic, but knows when things are impractical and won't work. Pro-circle and is against full Mage freedom, but understands the Circles won't work as they were before. Respects nobles and pities the commoners, if a bit disdainful towards the poor when they are rude. He will romance Dorian, and is in my 'canon' world state.
Ariela Trevelyan: A female human mage. Shy and timid, but prepared to do what is needed. She's scared of her position as inquisitor and would rather have had none of this happen at all. She wants a quiet life away from the world in a Circle of Magi. Romancing Cullen, and is in my 'alternate canon' world state (DA:O and DA2 choices are the same as 'canon'. These two world states are splitting off in DA:I)
Emmera Lavellan: A female elf mage. Has a kind heart and just wants to help people. Overall she's a nice person and is hoping to fix the world while learning all that she can about magic. She prefers her freedom over the Circle, and will be for Mage freedom, but with schools of a sort to teach magic. Will be romancing Solas, in my 'Magic' world state.
Noran Cadash: A male dwarf rogue. A tired middle-aged Carta thief. Generally disillusioned with the world and it's conflicts. He's weary of everything and everyone and just gets by day-by-day without caring too much. Doesn't care for the Mage/Templar conflict either way, and will side with whoever can help him the most. May romance Cassandra, and is in my 'worst possible scenario' world state.

(Yes, I like Mages.  ^_^ )

Edit: I forgot some info.

Female human mage - (strong willed, good natured, stubborn) - LI Cullen

Female elf rogue - (prideful, aggressive, has a temper but fun loving) - LI Iron Bull

Female elf mage - (naive, loving, honest, eager) - LI Solas

Those are the only three I'm fairly set on...the others are up in the air, but I'm leaning towards something like....

Female dwarf rogue - LI Blackwall

Female qunari warrior - LI Sera

Male human/elf rogue - LI Dorian

Male human warrior - LI Cassandra

Of course after my first playthrough what I experience could change everything haha, but hey it's fun to imagine regardless.

First and canon playthrough will be as a Dalish Rift Mage romancing Solas.

Second, femCadash as an Artificer romancing Blackwall, all the funsies...I hope for much sassiness and vulgarity with this pairing. (Yeah Varric, see?!  Who needs you! *sobs quietly*)

Third is a tossup between a femquanri or human Mage with IB or Cullen, haven't decided yet.

Then...I'll see where fate takes me...

Female human mage. She is an Isolationist, well-educated, calm but also has some trust issues, which means that she very rarely speaks of herself. She probably won't romance anyone, none of the options seem to work, but if someone has an idea for an interesting romance path feel free to say it.

I love contrasts in relationships - personality, mage/non-mage, race (where possible, though I don't mind human/human).

That said, my first character will be a rogue female elf who romances Solas. I hope I can make her the clan pariah - to they point where she may even have been considering leaving them. Agnostic, fascinated with other cultures (including human), and believes the Dalish backward and stuck in the past. A loner who has become abrasive, aggressive, and a bit rude as a result, even if she's generally a kind and somewhat naive person beneath. I'd like her interactions with Solas to give her a new appreciation for her own culture, and her relationship with him and the events of Inquisition to mature her.

Next will be a human female mage who romances Cullen. Pro-mage and generally pro-freedom with a major distrust of all things Chantry - templars included. I do want to make her a bit like a female version of Finn from Witch Hunt: intelligent, quirky, a bit awkward, and with a fascination for things slightly forbidden - I'll likely make her a necromancer. She and Cullen will clash in the beginning but hopefully she'll be able to gain his respect and he hers. If anything, I want Cullen being the one who grows from the relationship.

These are the only romances I'm really interested in (thank you, added development time). Normally I won't play male characters if I have a choice, but I might make one for Dorian. I'm thinking a human warrior - he'll be stoic, serious, and have a rather mercenary attitude. Not a bad person by any means - just a bitter realist with a selfish streak who'd prefer to be left alone, thanks. I hope I can actually have him pursue Cass initially, only to be won over by Dorian's idealism, passion, and sense of humor.

I do have a couple character concepts beyond that - one a human rogue, another a qunari mage - both female, but I'll wait until I meet everyone in the game to decide who to romance with them. Kind of leaning toward Blackwall and Josephine in general, but it really depends.

My first priority will be to romance Cullen with a female human mage (it has been a long time coming). Then, I will try most of the romances that strike my fancy. There are so many things to do and be in this game.I have already warned my friends that till after Chrismas I will probably not  leave the house :P

It all depends on who I like most, but here's a tentative plan:

Female:

Elf - Solas or Bull

Dwarf - Blackwall or Bull

Qunari - Sera or Bull

Human - Cullen or Bull

Males:

Elf - Dorian or Bull

Human/Qunari - Cassandra

? - Josephine (?)

You might have noticed that I like Iron Bull.

I'm making a swarthy, sexy and snarky Elven rogue who seduces Dorian into his bed AND IT WILL BE GLORIOUS.

Here's my current plans (which have changed since the last time I mentioned them a couple weeks ago).

Atiseth Lavellan Female Elven Warrior romancing Josephine (Sera is also a major possibility I'm playing this and the next one very much by ear), this character is more or less the self insert, so I have less of a defined personality than the other characters.

Asaara Adaar Female Qunari Mage romancing Sera (whichever female LI I don't romance with Atiseth). She's a rebellious woman with a very revolutionary streak, very anti-templar, pro-mage, anti-chantry, pro-elf, anti-dwarf, anti-Qun.

Karthana Trevelyan Female Human Rogue (dual wield) romancing Cullen (barring Blackwall really impressing me). Think friend Sebastian except female, pro-chantry, pro-circle.

And the most incomplete character ??? Cadash Female Dwarf Rogue (archer) romancing Iron Bull (both due to personality and due to hilarity of qunari-dwarf lovin). Likely the most mischievous and fun loving of all my characters, sort of like Sigrun without the Legion of the Dead thing.
