Probably after opening this topic it will be moved to ME3 forum and for some reasons that takes a long time to explain I will not be able to post in the neither in that section of the forum nor the thread itself.. But I was playing ME3 again and just finished Tuchanka mission. And this is my thought.

I noticed that when Mordin reaches the top of the shroud facility and stabilizes the temperature. so the cure won`t be sabotaged he,imo, had enough time to make a run for the elevator and save himself and get down. But he just stayed there singing. It was as if he wanted to die there. So for this reason, I call his deed, a foolish act of suicide or even selfish. what about you guys? what do you think?

I believe Mordin was insuring that the dispersal system was working as intended; not simply waiting for the end. The disturbing part for me was thinking that Shepard was catching parts of the lab coat during my initial playthrough; problematic.

Well, it seemed like he was. Cause obviously Shroud`s VI SAID that temperature IS stabilized and from that moment he at least had 10 seconds to make a run for the elevator. And considering that Elevator was still on the same floor, he could have survived. Unless Shepard for a moment became naughty and called down the elevator for the lolz.

Renegade is so cool cause I like to be evil too. But I usually during the game choose the option that I would choose in real life. So yeah. But I WILL go for all renegade after this one for each of my saves. (I have like five or six for every LI. lol and a female one just for Traynor.  )

I Think it was a sacrifice after all he went up there while the shroud was exploading just to distribute the cure for the genophage. I Think he stayed to ensure the cure was released so no i wouldnt call it a suicide.

That option is only available I think if wreave is the leader. I think.

As I was not able to get the ME1 DLC`s, I did not play it and downloaded ready saves for import into ME2. And in all of the saves on MEsaves.com Wrex was spared. So yeah. (played ME2 with all of its DLC`s though.).

No the beacon thing was coming apart at the seams, it was a one way trip for him and I've never once thought he was committing suicide.

But nothing happend untill he sang the first two parts of the song. Could not he run instead of standing silent for a couple of seconds and singing?

1) Salarians believe in reincarnation.

2) This.

I believe Mordin was insuring that the dispersal system was working as intended; not simply waiting for the end.

Sacrifice.

The structure was starting to come apart, and he probably didn't have a way back down. Mordin never struck me as being suicidal.

Thing is, I could have talk-jutsu'ed mordin out of trying to spread the cure but the punk had to learn his lesson on why it's not a good idea to flip flop on Renegade Shepard.
