That's probably the reason for the delay.

And she's still shrinkwrapped on my shelf. I barely played the first game with her..let alone the second. I need to get around to it one day.

I actually enjoyed LR much more than the first game and a little bit more than the second one. The gameplay was more dynamic and I had no trouble stopping the clock and gaining those special points to spam/stop the clock and buy some time while doing sidequests. I wish the game was longer though. After the 5th or 6th day, I finished everything there was to be done in the game and slept in an Inn until the 14th day where I unlocked the bonus dungeon. The bonus boss there, I couldn't beat it. I plan to do so, someday, however.

My current plan is to wait until LR is out, and on sale bundled with the other two games (so maybe 2016? 2017 latest?), and get it all for PC and do completionist playthroughs of all of them 
. Definitely 100s of hours of gameplay, with better than XB360/PS3 graphics, for a relatively cheap price!
This is partially for me, but also partially for my boyfriend who likes the Lightning games MUCH more than I do. I'm not even particularly enthused about FFXV either, or Type-O. Only the FFVII remake has my hype, and World of Final Fantasy looks...cute.

I'm more curious as if we should expect future Final Fantasy Games to also follow this trend of wait 2 years and they will announce it for PC as well. I mean why doesn't Square Enix just take PC more serious from the jump start and make PC versions from the start, even if they only look as good as the best looking console version. People on PC are likely going to hack and make mods that improve the overall whatever when they feel like it anyway, or Square can release texture packs like Bethesda does for PC when they get around to it.

To be honest, expecting much of a port of a port of a PSP game isn't reasonable. I'm surprised they released this game at all, honestly. I'm happy that they have, and I think it might bode well for FFXV coming to the PC at some point...
Though people who care about getting the most out of their games graphically are probably going to be consistently disappointed, I don't know that SE cares to put too much effort into making a distinct PC port with updated textures and whatnot.
I can't wait to buy several more recent FF games (including the FFXIII trilogy and Type-0) on sale at bulk!!!

It is! The series isn't quite as bad as people say, but if you quit FFXIII like ten hours in or something feel free to jump to the next games in the series. You can just read in the stuff you missed.

Good! Personally it's one of my favorite series, even if it's not the best. With 13-2 there are some 'Fail States' you can run in to, but I can't remember if they're only after you beat the final boss. So if you get to a certain point and don't know how to move forward it's fine to check a wiki, since the lore gets pretty confusing at this point as well as the time stuff.

I have to seperate Lightning and the FF13 Series. Without Lightning I never finish FF13 and prob never play rest of the series. With Lightning it made the games worth playing. Simply put I really like Lightning the character. I know there is mix reaction toward. I found her very likeable and she had a edge to her.
Whenever Lightning Returns is release I will see if my computer can play it. Hopefully the modders can improve the graphics. LR was my favorite game of the series. Combat in it was a lot of fun. The garb system work far better then I thought it would.
I wonder if Xbone will have it as a backwards game?
