An EA customer support representative told me to post my issue here.

 

I am having trouble with the N7: Special Ops multiplayer promotion. I own all the DLC the game has to offer, so I have no problems in getting enough effective military strength to get a good ending on the game, however the N7: Special Ops promotion packs make getting the best set of endings almost a forgone conclusion. Is there anyway that these can be removed from my Bioware / Origin profile as I no longer player multiplayer anyway? 

This mechanic has ruined the game for me.

There sort of is. Just don't connect to the EA servers. Without an active connection, the multiplayer asset doesn't appear in your war asset list.

 

That is to say, don't check your galactic readiness at the war assets screen. Unless you refresh your war asset list by checking your galactic readiness through clicking the button, ME 3 does eventually forget that you have online multiplayer assets.
