Will the Fate of "The Warden" be explained in Inquisition (If not sacrificed)?

Just curious if there has been any social media on this considering the devs have already shown Hawke to be involved somehow with the inquisition. If this is an opus to the series, shouldn't the wardens fate be explained? I just getting the vibe that they are awfully quiet about this, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. Has anyone heard or read anything?

Edit: (Sorry if this has already been posted.)

Thanks

They have not announced anything about the Warden either way, but I totally agree with you that we should hear and find out about what happened to the Warden. It only makes logical sense even if the Warden doesn't show up, that we find something out second hand, especially if Hawke is in it(CONFIRMED!) YAY!

I heard a theory that your warden is being controlled by the elder one or something like that. It would solve a lot of the problems of having your warden not sound like or act like what you imagined them to be. Were hawke has a set personality based on what dialogue you chose most

My Warden is Corypheus and he is already semi-confirmed to be in the game.

I have no worries.

I would not be surprised if Leliana mentions the Warden, if asked.

Hmmm. So, given the events ending in witch hunt, I see that some ppl have created conclusive endings for their canon warden. However, i think as a grand finale, the choices the warden made should have some arrangement in the story. The first games storyline was very, very strong. It's a challenge to build on perfection. But it all just seems so inconclusive with the warden, "hero of ferelden" especially with the da2 ending. I look forward to the warden having some kind of strong role in the story, if only just to "bury the ax."

I can't imagine they're going to explain Hawke's disappearance without explaining the Warden's as well. Though I'm not sure why that's being kept under wraps so much more than Hawke is.

Maybe we free them from somewhere

I'm hoping the Warden moves into Skyhold to be with Leliana.

Ah, that would be just hilariously awful.

The Warden/Hero of Ferelden controlled or possessed by the Elder One would just be so damned demoralizing, whether or not it was his/her living or dead body.

Ohhh thats right it even works if they are dead sweet. That would be a difficult fight my warden is way too powerful, he chose to do the fight with the archdemon solo.

......he must have been a confident warden to hav the balls to fight archdemon by himself......or maybe he had a big ego? :P

Well seeing as he did it in one try I think his confidence was spot on. That and I didn't have to worry about friendly fire damage with my wardens spells

Until told otherwise my Warden is stationed at Montsimmard with Loghain. He visits Morrigan and his son at the Imperial Palace in Val Royeaux regularly. He occasionally returns to Ferelden to visit Fergus and check on Alistair and Anora.

Probably they were trapped in the same place as Hawke, probably by the Elder One or Flemeth. When you free Hawke the Warden returns as well. That is if we DO find out.

What?

Not all of my Wardens have any reason to do that. (Though she was my favorite, and the majority of my Wardens did romance her.)

There was at some point a long time ago where a Dev said, the Inquisitor could look for the Warden. If it is still true or not, is to be seen.

I want to see my Warden pretty badly after they basically brought him back into the fold at the end of DA2 "gone...just like the Warden..."

If my Warden had a happily ever after with Leliana I would of been fine. That's what I am going to try to achieve for him in DA:I

I wish they had left the Warden alone and never forced their involvement at the end of DA2, I'd have been happy imagining mine off running around with Zevran or back doing Queen stuff with Alistair.  But yeah, since they've made them disappear I hope now we do find out what happens with them one way or another.  I really think we should be though, it wouldn't make sense to just ignore it...I just hope they don't kill them off or something like that lol.

Do we get to visit Antiva in DA:I?

I know Zevran is not in DA:I but I really wish my city elf/elven mage Warden is happily running around with Zevran killing the Crows or something.

I don't think Bioware would let us visit Antiva without adding Zevran to the game. (As an optional encounter assuming he survived of course.)
